My experiences.

Gen I: Nice start.

Yellow: Pikachu became the main character...

Gen II: It's all cheerful and cute!

Crystal: Uh... I don't know why, but I find those Unown quite ominous about the future...

Gen III: Cool.

Gen III remakes: O.K., that's just a total remake. Fits.

Gen IV: ...Quite epic.

Gen IV remakes: That looks like Platinum.

Gen V: I see. Well, this is where the series' evolution was going to... Pokémon became a generic RPG.

Hahaha, i have one of each game. I have red, yellow, gold, crystal, ruby, emerald, diamond, platinum, soulsilver, and white. If you think about it, that was a HUGE jump for pokemon in 16 years

I love watching these openings, especially the ones below the DS intros, because they were my Pokemon as a kid. All the DS ones are pretty much from the time I became a teenager. Old and new, I love these games. B/W may get boring as soon as you beat the main storyline and get all the gym badges, but now I just wanna make my Pokemon strong. The older games are good for feeling nostalgic. And since I've gotten more knowledge on how to raise PKMN and build better teams, the older games are easy!

@TorNyan My point simply being that Haxorus' special attack is HUGELY outclassed but its attack, so anyone with a brain would use a physical move like Dragon Claw over a special one like Dragon Pulse because it would do buckets more damage.

@NASCARFAN160 When a game is ran on Game Boy Color that wasn't made to use it, it goes through a default set of colors. Games such as Gold and Silver use it to enhance, so they have a pre-installed pallete, but can be ran on a normal Game Boy. Other games, such as Crystal, can only be ran on Game Boy Color, and therefore have a pallete as well.
