whats the name of the tune at start of this ive forgot - also anyone know the name of that tune from 94 that had the guitar riff of sweet child o mine on it
Dave Graham knew fuck all about dance music and couldn't get a mix together to save his life. He just jumped on the bangwagon when the club started playing dance music.
Rusty and Kenny Grogan were the unsung Drome heros.
used to love this club. but for me THE BASSMENT was da real deal! pitch black except for a strobe, fuckin big hole in the stage, sweat drippin from the ceiling, comin home covered in shite.and yer tell tha to the kids today and they would`nt believe yer! thanks for the vid!
@feyenoordscouse coz they aint even mdma anymore..you cant get em anymore..all these pills on the scene now are BZP or Piperazine bollox which is dog worming tablets...nasty shit
The Drome was never even close to the quad as far as a proper venue went, as for DG he jumped on the bandwagon They should of left Kenny Grogan and Mike Knowler doin Life instead of that knob
The funny thing is DG looked better then than now,he looks ill, like a crackhead if u see him in town, my mate lived with dj Trix in his flat in new brighton in 93'.For a northern dj DG could beatmix tho' he wasnt that bad, still got some tapes in the loft,im 40 now!
Im with you UnoHoncho Trixy(aka Mike Clark) was the best.I got back from Ibiza in 88 and asked DG for some acid music and he never had a clue what i was talking about and never really did,he was and always will be the Timmy Mallett of the North West dance scene, those who know KNOW.

It's all a big myth about tablets being better "back in the day". It's all to do with tolerance levels.
