Uhm...I hate to say but their marriage was far from a dream. He cheated on her like crazy...even in the beginning when they were dating. He wanted to get a divorce from her in 1969...she refused. I read a quote from George - he didn't want to press for a divorce because he'd have to pay her a money and she would make it a high profile divorce. I'm not one to spread gossip, but he was two-timing her with Joey Heatherton - who personally, I think WAS WAY BETTER

I read this in her book..they were "TRUE SOULMATES" IN EVERY SENSE OF THE WORD!
