Hope you did get a good kitty to replace your loss. My wife and I were never really "cat people" until Rusty followed us home from walking one night. He actually followed us
about 2 miles. When we got home, gave him some food and he barely touched it, so
he wasn't really hungry. The good thing is, we did get a cat nearly as good. Wife got
him at a shelter from a lady bringing him in.... wasn't weaned. Obie (for Orphan Boy).
@imagrandpa Everything you said described my cat O'Malley to a tee! :) You must have really loved Rusty.....Yeah I did get a new pet cat named Billy and he is so lovable like O'Malley was....Im glad you guys found another pet to brighten up your lives :)

Rusty was a beautiful cat! He seemed very smart too :) Im sorry for your loss, I just lost my cat 3 days ago:(

@KISSMEMYFOOL69 Sorry for your loss. Has been 3+ yrs and we all
still miss Rusty. He was very smart and totally fearless of any stranger.
He loved people and I could probably throw him into the lap of someone
he'd never seen and he'd just sit there. Loved to please and would come
at least 9 times out of 10. Of course, he only did this because he wanted
to.
Hope you find a good pet to replace your loss. My wife got very lucky and
found another at the the pound.
