  • u must be poor its only 400

  • Im sorry man but i have a strong feeling these Relocation Movers are straight up fucking gangsters. Russian mafia? Possibly. I would just take your loss man...Its not worth your life.

  • Reliance Relocation is an absolute scam. Please spread the word to who ever you can to stay away from these guys. After weeks of wrangling with them, I feel lucky that we actually received our property and only were scammed out of about $2000. STAY AWAY FROM RELIANCE RELOCATION!!

  • Garrett Moving & Storage aka Michael & Pam Garrett aka Southern Maryland Moving & Storage & other names doubled the price on my using their facilities over the course of 6 years. I paid 25 thous+ for storage and they doubled the price on my move once they had my things. Their threat was to sell my stuff off. When I had them move my things back to me they faked a break in and said my stuff was stolen. They took over 78% of my things and moved away. They cuss at me on the phone and hang up.

  • Well, well, well! Yosef Ashdot just called me today at 4:59 P.M. asking to return his call. I wonder why?

He had just been on the phone with yet another victim in Florida.

Same crooked story, same crooked scam.

People hired a mover in Florida. Yosefs crew shows up in New York for a delivery to Indiana. The hostage load is yet to be found?

Another case for the US DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration.

Yosef, get an honest job will you?

When are you going to learn?

  • I put a dep down on my move but decided to cancel after doing some research on them. I am from JC and thought by using a local i would be "ok". Good thing i looked into it. Last week after not getting my refund i went to their office here on newark ave and found that they were gone. No sign of reliance and after speaking with another tenant he told me that they may have left sometime in end of oct. as their signs were taken down around that timeframe. 2 days later my cc was refunded thank god !

  • One has to wonder if these crimes are mob related and/or can be prosecuted under RICO?

Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act

When these people from Reliance Relocation Services, supposedl to deliver the victim his goods they caused a problem at the apt. complex. They damaged a gate and police were called. Driver and his partner were abusive to employee on duty.

If you have been scammed, call your local law enforcement agency & FMCSA

  • Russell was very abusive and belligerent toward the apt. gate guard, the apt. manager, and even the officer (per the manager). • The perpetrators would not accept the victims cashiers check for $2.096. They wanted cash. Victim now believes his property is in storage in Irvine, Ca. Area.

Anyone knowing storage facilities in that area, please call. The victim has notified police on extortion demands by Reliance Relocation Services.

When is this organized gang of gypsy thieves going to be put out of business?

  • Same scam, again, gypsy liars, thieves, and bandits pulling the same storage facility line. Victim in Irvine, California arranged with Reliance to pay $2,096. Two dubious guys showed up claiming to be from Argosy Van Lines, 1009 Park Center Blvd., Miami, FL. Argosy is like Accurate Movers, a shill for Reliance. Argosy is a successor company to another crook, Trans American Van Lines.Kevin, a purported dispatcher answers a number in Miami at 305.655.3580 phone is listed to GUILLERMO RODRIQUEZ

  • Congratulations. Reliance and this whole team are crooks. I am still in my battle with them.

  • well ..i did finally get my refund after seeing these people or "company" in person.

    wow now wasnt that easy???

i guess they dont like to see customers at their doorstep. It took 1 min to say who i was and another 5mins for them to cut a check

THANK YOU ALL FOR SUPPORTING ME

  • As you are all aware, Yosef Ashdot of Accurate Movers and Reliance Relocation relinquished the "hostage load" of the victim in Oregon on 10/09/2008. It was recovered in Lansing, Michigan. However, there there is much more to be done. Another victim was supposed to have property moved from Michigan to California. Since March 2008 the property has allegedly been held hostage, possibly in New Jersey. Federal investigators from U.S. DOT, FMCSA are examining this case and others related to fraud.

  • whats with the duh comments?

    not really a necessity.

they will need to refund me directly when i go to the office with proof of not having used the service

  • a comment by another on Reliance.

    Duh....

like they are going to refund you directly?

a family member of mine went to reliance's headquarters and told me that they dont even own trucks. Only 2 people work in the office named josh and henry and they have a huge office space with phones and computers.

  • you should get in touch with that man from FMCSA. you waste time trying to deal with this bunch. Look how that fed agency helped the lady with hostage goods in Michigan?

    You Tube moving scame- watch?v=jV2FySLMxNc

WHY DON'T YOU JUST DISPUTE WITH YOUR CREDIT CARD COMPANY. YOU WON'T BE OUT ANYTHING BUT WAIT TOO LONG AND YOU'LL LOSE YOUR RIGHTS.

    notify FMCSA

  • I did notify my Credit card. But this is to also show documentation of me actually trying to get the refund from them if something were to happen and I wasnt given the credit. I don't just want my money back now. I want this company CLOSED!

  • I still have not received my refund. On several occasions I have talked to Josh and he told me to keep calling back. After I finally posted my own video, some other man from his office (Yoseph?) called me back and told me that he was going to sue me for recording Josh and I's conversation. A scare tactic that did not work. The man told me that he wouldn't sue me for 10,000 dollars if I gave up and let them keep my 430$. I told him no way, and he said he would see me in court.Bring IT.

  • anyone else get refunded? i didnt this company is terrible.

Josh and henry is reliance relocation. The office is on the middle floor. I was reading that they had a dispatcher and customer service people but this isnt true. Only

josh amd henry are in that location. No trucks are visable for moving also. There is no parking for any trucks. Seems to be a calling place with plenty of phones and computers but no actual moving trucks.

  • yes these people should be outta biz

    they got my monies too

I also had my cousin who lives a few towns away from their office go there and check out this company. It seems that there is a josh that owns the company and also one other person that works there. Only 2 freakin people work for this company !!! THIS IS A MOVING COMPANY??? WTF !!!!

IT WAS A GREAT BIG OFFICE WITH NO ONE IN IT EXCEPT FOR 2 PEOPLE ! SCAM CITY !

  • so folks. the saga still continues. I have yet to receive reimbursement for the ridiculous charge made to my account without my authorization. No one at reliance will help me. All I get are refusals or my complaints fall on deaf ears. I have since filed with my credit card company and met with someone about a civil lawsuit against them. Lets take this company OUT!

  • Reliance Relocation NJ office did an unauthorized charge to my credit card account which I am in dispute with. Do Not use this company!!!! also went though items and stole personal belongings. They broker my load out to a company I had no idea had my load until they called to deliver the items, which at that time demanded cash or postal money order only.

  • More and more people have called and we continue to provide resources info for those who may have been defrauded or scammed. This agency and site are a great resource.

  • dude what happened with this?

did u get refunded from these crooks?

  • no i have not. they keep giving everyone one of us the run around. avoiding us to no end. I am not the only one. Spread the word about this very crooked company.

  • Don't give up Richard! Since the 1st fraud moving scam with Reliance & Accurate Movers was brought to my attention I have heard from 36 individuals across the country. The fraud includes NY, NJ, VT, MI, OH, AR, CA, IL, TN, PA and other states. You can read more on what to do by viewing the sites and my own, JustinianLaw. File a complaint if you suffered a loss. You can make a difference. Don't be intimidated by ruthless rogue robbers. Fight for your rights, money and goods. Call the police.

  • Whether you can record depends on the particular state law, but, that's not the issue here -- these Reliance guys are con-artists and that's what matters.

This citizen is exercising his rights to attempt to stop criminals.

If you're in Jersey go by and make a citizen's arrest!

  • thank you so much for understanding. Companies like this belittle citizens and make them fearful of fighting back. I am NOT one of those people.

  • Runaround Reliance Ripoffs--- Really!!!! I know someone else on this site who got ripped off by them and they are sleeping on the floor. The children never got their books nor their toys and there are no beds to sleep on. Wake up America! This man is you or me. He is not deserving of this and we need to make noise like never before. I contacted the Oprah show about these people and they will be doing the public a service to put this on their show. Stay tuned.

  • There is no state statute on the books regulating the interception of telephone conversations in State of Vermont. The case law is sparse in this area and has not yielded a clear indication of whether Vermont is a one-party or two-party consent state. In one case, the court indicated, without deciding the issue, that the federal statute on interception and disclosure of wire communications (18 U.S.C. §2511) State v. Kasper, 404 A.2d 85, 92-93 (Vt. 1979) is permissable.

  • another person scammed in America by Josh

and Reliance Relocation Services, 295-299 Newark Avenue, 2nd Floor, Jersey City, NJ 07032. Mailing address; 69 Erie Street, Apt #1, Jersey City, NJ 07032. Josh Avramovich is listed as president of the company. According to insurance and licensing they have no authority to be engaged in business as their licenses were revoked on June 26/2007. DOT # 1645880 & MC # 606115.

  • Josh Avramovich, Henry, Joseph, or Yosef Ashdot.., holiday is over

    You'll hear this song soon..

    Bad boys bad boys

Watcha gonna do, whatcha gonna do

    when they come for you

    Bad boys, bad boys

Watcha gonna do, watcha gonna do

    when they come for you?

And it ain't gonna be a mover at the door, it will be the police

  • Check out the video by the Michigan private investigator. same bunch, same company, same names. watch?v=jV2FySLMxNc

  • i wish that the video linked worked. Please spread the word about this. I am not the only one. Many others are in an even worse state than myself. We have to get this company from doing this to others.

  • you can't deal with these crooks. Where are the cops when you need them? Put Josh and the rest in jail. All the phone lines are a bank and a bank of fraud!!!

  • sounds like you need a good lawyer...have you talked to the man upstairs?

  • If I dont get my money back through my credit card company I might. I also would like to file a civil lawsuit or something. Damages for time and money spent dealing with this.

  • how about a haircut first?

  • If it means bringing down these crooks. anything. ;)

  • I NEED A HAIRCUT

  • i only responded due to the recording

i tried it once and they said i was doin illegal activity dude

  • In Vermont it is allowed. There is no statute.

  • i am merely showing documentation to a ongoing investigation of this very crooked company. It is illegal for them to be screwing over hundreds of dollars... I am doing whatever i can to get my money back. And for the record its almost like using a recorded voicemail for the police. same idea

  • yes thats illegal

its not legal to record people without there knowledge
