Batman: Arkham Asylum Rope-A-Dope-A-Dope Achievement

I got this without the need to cut the rope. I just did the inverted takedown with other guards underneath/closeby.

Drop doesn't mean cut the rope, it just means 'drop' the body down, which happens after you bring the guard up and then automatically drop him down. As long as there is guards underneath, the trophy/achievement will unlock. No need for any rope cutting.

LMAO i got this achievement by accident i used the inverted takedown on a guy and then another guy came and i bataranged the rope i thought he may land on him but instead i got this achievement.

To do this achievement/trophy you have to first buy the Inverted Takedown upgrade, when you use it on a henchmen, wait for another henchmen to get close to the tied henchmen, then cut the rope with a Batarang, if you takedown someone and cut them down before anyone is even near him, or no one is near, you won't get the achievement/trophy

It can actually knock one a henchman out if you get one henchman under it.

i got this on accident. I thought that if you cut the guy down while he's right above another guy, the guy on the ground would be stunned.

Yeah I just wanted the gargoyle to be free and when I cut the rope, the body droped on the person underneath and knocked him out lol

Same thing happened to me in the caves (looking for riddlers bullshit) I jumped all around trying to get to the other side, ended up getting there and getting everything (the hard way). I randomly threw a batarang and a fucking bridge falls down. I turned off the game and went to bed.

I just solved all the riddles today. During the game i randomly solved 154 of them. Today, I went back and roamed freely and found the other 86 needed. it's a pain in the ass, even when you have the maps.

i waited for 2 guys to walk to the gargoyle, grabbed one and dropped him in front of the other and received no achievement  . i was pretty frustrated and gave up on it.

Looks like a glitch to me. I've done this loads but no achievement... every other place I've looked says you need to drop him on another guy.

my bad when I have seen it done different the way I have seen it is when the guy is upside down you throw the batarang to drop him on the other guy to knock him out but I guess this way works as well.

@yaneta5 yeah when I did it he fell on the other guy and knock him out then the achievement came up. It also looks kida like that in the achievement picture.
