Cadence songs were invented by a black US Army sergeant early in the Korean war. The were fun and helped pass the time as you marched in training! But you can't sing the old songs anymore. They aren't considered PC and you have women soldiers now. The modern songs tend to be stupid. :(

yes your side vision is very important when marching....also every time you sing a verse in a cadence you should be stepping with your left foot...a good cadence is...c-130 rolling down the strip...going alone on a one way tip...mission top secret destination unknown...don't even know if were coming home...jump right up and shuffle to the door...drop your face and count to four........ all these repeat after said an each one starts on the left foot...your cadence should be 2 beats per second....

At a certain point it just becomes a matter of numbers. The Army will always be the force that does most of the heavy lifting on the ground. No, Marines are NOT a branch of the Navy. The USMC is it's own military branch and is a Department of the Navy. There's a big difference.

@WhatsupImTyler Ignorant people make me laugh, the Marine Corp is a DEPARTMENT of the Navy. They are both under the Dep. of Navy but arn't the same at all. "The United States Marine Corps (USMC) is a branch of the United States armed forces responsible for providing force projection from the sea, using the mobility of the United States Navy to rapidly deliver combined-arms task forces" Navy=Ship warfare, Marines= amphibious assult. Now anyone who reads this is informed :)

As I recall, those racist Eastern Europeans have faced discrimination more than any ethnic group in this planet and have survived. Absolutely amazing!
