I hate all of the people who talk about Call of Duty like it's the greatest series ever, but all they have played are the Modern Warfare games and Black Ops.

The original and the United Offensive expansion pack were easily the greatest games of the mid 2000s on PC.

The Multiplayer was friggin' awesome, with the help of all the modders. And the singleplayer was perfect in both.

@josephjoyce99 you should atleast try cod3 out. buy it at EB Games and if you don't like it try returning it. anyways it's only $19.99 Canadian used. I actually like cod3 more than any other CoD. I really think you should try it out. At first the multiplayer isn't good and you prob won't like it but after you get the hand of it, it is just amazing. Try playing Battle at first then Cap the Flag and Team Games.

In it, they revealed that Treyarch would be working on black ops to be released this november. They also said that IW would still play a strong role in the cod series and they are working on the next game - cod mw3, to be released in 2011. I would provide a link, but utube wont let me.

That's because WW1 is very limited in terms of developing combat scenarios and choice of weapons. Most of the war was a stalemate so not very much can be put into a game.
