  • ouch [2]

  • what do you mean?

  • that was a short landing!!

  • why is the Autobrakes was not enabled in this video...?

  • it isn't necessary to active them. The Pilots have the choice to choose manual break which mean that they break manual with their feets / pedals

  • ouch

  • alright :D

"But an excellent landing is the one that will satisfy you as a pilot!"

    ....and your (Check)-Captain ;)

    Yeah, i do...

  • Sure it was a landing, watch the full video.

  • what the hell else do you think it is???

  • yes i know i meant it was not a good landing!

  • so you are the pro and know how to judge a landing in a 330? guess not....

  • well I'm a pilot! And i've spent a lot of time watching flight deck dvd's with A330's plus i have spent a lot of time in the simulator with my uncle who is a captain on a A330's

  • true true, maybe you really know something about it, and maybe the landing was a bit rough, but if you listen closely the wind is 060 with 10knots which is a crosswind factor of 8 knots from the right. that doesnt make it easier. don´t get me wrong,i don´t want to defend the collegues or anyone, but its always a little bit bold to judge a landing by a shaking flight-deck video. Maybe the plane was on the brink of MLW which also can make it harder. So,a good landing is one u walk away from.

  • I agree with you, I'm not blaming the pilot!Everyone has a bad day!A good landing is one that your plane doesn't get any damage! But an excellent landing is the one that will satisfy you as a pilot!Anw Happy Landings!P.S. Do you work for Lufthansa?

  • wrong, by a smooth landing the wheels of the maingear slide over the runway. so the wheels wear down und went broken. in our engineering hall we have lots of these cases. a "hard" landing like this in the video is good for the wheels. please believe me. I´m a aircraft mechanic for Lufthansa Technik.

  • What a nice video.

    The begin part is outstanding.

I love to see such things, planes that fly thousands of feet high with the stripes behind the engines.

But the landing, it was quite hard that one ^^
