Secondly, this robot is created by humans to create art, so technically it is art by humans, not art by a robot. Art and technology will always have a relationship. Not stupid at all. Yes the robot is making art, but I was pointing out the technicalities in determining the true source of that art, which doesn't stop at the robot, but extends to the manufacturing and programming of the robot, and then further extension to the idea of creating this robot for the purpose of creating art, in an artistic context; ultimately the source is human.I'm not taking glory away from the robot

This is incredible. I've seen drawing robots before, but all of them 'cheat' i.e. output something that looks like a photograph with a Photoshop filter applied to it. This approach has some problems in the shadowy areas, but looks amazing nonetheless.
