@hiddenThecakeisalie Grab a stick and go find a wall or a friend who has played and learn how to catch, pass, scoop, cradle, and all of those easy basics so you have a general idea. Its easier to learn as your younger, like in middle school but id focus on the basics before trying out =)

@TheAwesomeKiller Not at all. I'm the only girl on the team (Guys Team) but I'm not treated like a girl at all. It's a quick sport! If you have never played it I don't think you should. Unless you have done other sports. If your quick, practice a lot, determined, etc. I came home from practice about every day and practice for 30mins to 2 hours more depending if I had homework.

Played goalie sophomore year because I had quick reflexes, wasn't afraid of the ball and they needed one. This year I'm playing D-Middie and Goalie cuz now we have like 30 goalies after i started being one and they tried me out for Defense... yea

I am a freshman and I signed up for my JV team. The season doesn't start yet but I am in a separate league with other kids from my school and grade. It's really fun but learning the rules and stuff can be hard. Once you get the hang of it you'll love it!

Well playing lacrosse is always a good idea :]

Just get a stick, and start practicing ASAP. You coaches should run you through basics but it never hurts to start practicing early. I started lacrosse my freshmen year and actually made varsity because of a lot of practice from fall-spring. (Currently a sophmore).

I started freshman year and im already better than most kids who started in 5th grade. Of course im an all year guy who plays sports every season, so hand eye coordination was already with me. But you can still get good if you practice a lot, just to get cradling and catching. GL
