Odd that some who are classically trained and non-tonally-deaf cannot evoke the feelings that she does with this song. Whether it was written for her or written to her or just happened to fall upon her, it is wedded to her. Can appreciate that it's not for everyone, a matter of differing sensitivities.

Lucky Jim! I would have ridden her from now till doomsday, just to hear her voice! I have all her albums, videos etc, just miss her so much, she was a real star!

Really, leave it to Warhol to give this woman a chance to sing. She couldn't get lunch in a kitchen with that voice... Terrible ending of such a beauty though, smoking, stinking, addicted to heroin and uncounted organisms living in and on her.
I think the quality of her voice varies extremely from recording to recording, on It was a pleasure then she sounds great and I think These Days and Fairest of the seasons are good too, but like little sister and the last song on this album are almost unbearable
Hey, Nico isn't the only one with uncounted organisms living in and on her. That's something we all have in common. I doubt you could count the bacteria in your colon or the germs in your mouth, no matter how many times you brush your teeth. Be more specific if you're trying to insult someone.
I thought I was complimenting her... As far as organisms are concerned, there are some with a symbiotic relationship with our bodies, and some like lice just benefit themselves... Peace.
