Either the length-of-pull is to0 long or that makeshift recoil pad is just to0 thick. Either way, the only reason this happened was because of improper handling due to the shotgun not fitting the sho0ter (again, either because of the length of the stock or because to0 much padding). Also, she should lean into it instead of away from it. I'm fully confident she'd be able to handle it if handled properly.
