I think that the American Government blew up the buildings, and blamed the Middle East for it, and after thousands of deaths of soliders and innocent people on all sides nothing has really been achieved.

And now the Americans, are pulling out saying that they have one the war? I don't think so, I think that it can never be one, and that they need the troops to go over to Afganistan as they are outstreched, and the buget is too high.

I feel sad for the people that died that day may they RIP.

i do love these musisicians, they are the most talented of my generation, easily. I don't always agree with their position, but i love their ability to speak to everyone without (much) hostility. Emily and Amy are such an inspiration; gay or not; American or not. I LOVED this song when I first heard it and had no clue about the political intentions. It makes you wonder who is profiting from the working people of this country...who's benefiting from the gas prices...really. ??

I went to Ground Zero in December of that year. I never thought that I would hear the echo of thousands of souls crying out to me in anguish. I was diminished on that day. They were just doing what I do every morning. Going to work. Maybe to make themselves able to live out their dreams. They were just doing what I, what WE, do every day. And now they're gone. We can't forget. We must remain grateful for every day of freedom. Obama, Hillary or McCain, no matter. Freedom MUST reign.
