you are (or already have) going to have a tough time keeping that sand clean, as it is much more difficult to use a gravel vacuum with the small grains. good news is using sand leaves you the possibility of keeping some cool stuff that requires the sand bottom, like fire eels, tire track eels, peacock eals and stingrays
@hammertimevice Yeah, that sand is pretty hard to keep clean and I do suck some of it up, but I have a lot of it leftover. The tank has finished cycling and I put cichlids in it, they are doing great and love to dig in the sand. I hope to post another video soon.
