First let me start off that i am not against a jewish state. Israel was created by the united Nations and there is not much no one can do to reverse that fact. The Syrians abandoned the Druze of the Golan Hts in 1967. Rafeek Hillow, a Syrian Druze army general was left with his battalion to ward off the Israeli enemy while the Syrian govt had already surrendered.
