Its the "everything was true, it couldn't be a story..." verse that I don't quite understand the meaning of, I assume that it was from the point of view of somebody in love in Fucshia, but what does it mean, anyone care to elaborate???

@Shopola Most of the lyrics in this song are lines taken from The Gormenghast Trilogy by Mervyn Peake. It's a very dark, beautifully written trilogy. In the story Fuchsia is princess of the castle and she's pretty much insane and believes in fantasy worlds. In the end of the second book (I think) she dies. She's an extremely unusual and memorable character and I think the author of this song was just very moved by her imagination and wished for her sake the stories she believed in were real.

I have always absolutely loved this song!! This song just digs deep into my soul and touches my heartstrings. This song is so haunting and mesmerising!! The Cure never ceases to amaze me with their absolute amazing songs and beautiful lyrics! The Cure is an amazing and awesome band who have truly stood the test of time! I have loved them for 26 years now and it will continue on forever!! Robert is amazing in all aspects! The Cure forever!! An excellent upload you have done here. I so enjoy it!

Ok I think my favorite thing about The Cure's songs, are their beats...They are just so amazing. And omg I love all these pictures. You used a lot of their younger ones. So cute :) And cool too! @letmyloveopenthedoor - Cool. I always go for their lyrics, but I love how each song has a different riff, I really loved the sound they had with this album.. it was so sexy in a spooky way lol. Yeah.. since this song came out in 81, I wanted to use pics from the early 80s.. some are from 83 but I couldnt find as many from 81.
