  • I got into the Manics early on well before the first album came out, I think when Richey vanished they became a different band and i haven't really listened to their stuff since 1995, to many strings for me.

  • I wonder if the interviewer was expecting anything like this. Richey's interviews are always amazingly honest, he speaks more candidly and coherently about depression than any public figure I've seen.

  • I love how k

  • Having grown up with the Manics since I was 11 year old boy and I'm now a 21 year old man I still find this hard to watch. I come back to it every now and then to help me get a sense of perspective- he'll articulate how I feel far better than I ever could.

  • Richey was truly one of the most beautiful human beings to ever exist. If more people followed his lead and adhered to his values the world would be a far nicer place, more fascinated by culture than celebrity. One day I hope to join him, be it in heaven, on earth, or the deepest depths of hell. RJE forever, I raise a glass to you. LSG x

  • what does he mean somewhere in this interview when he says "I know what happened to me when I was a child?"

  • @LeppardPrintAnimal

    Oh no, not this again...

  • I believe he's just trying to illustrate that people who didn't share his childhood with him, didn't see him grow up, don't really know what he's experienced in his life on a personal basis, can't really make judgements about his life and himself as a person like he can about himself.

  • Poor Rich =[

  • A wee boy lost! I wish his family all the best.
