Glad they will get this done, but they really need to stop with the at grade crossings. Developers have difficulty building truly high density areas around stations when they have to be concerned about the safety of at grade crossings. Morrel Station and Corinth Station are examples of areas people would consider developing if it wasn't at-grade.

In a DMN article I read (and if I'm remembering correctly), Plano and Richardson are currently fighting over an east-west line to connect Red and Orange. THAT will be quite awesome.
I use DART everyday to get to school. My parents are saving their money.

@tsterlyn01 The mode is chosen on a project by project basis. Light rail was chosen in the 1990's.

@Gamarabi Well, sometimes you have to build at grade. Because with an elevated station, you have to dig to make room for elevator and escalator pits.

Cute now connect Segment 2 orange line with the green line by going through Mac Arthur 6-35 Valley Ranch and creating an "outer ring"
