there have been several reports of this pack spreading Malware, also 1 video made here on YT about this. I installed this, didnt find any malware though, but wmvs wont play, everything else will though, so not sure about this

vista codec pack sucks dont use it it will kill your systems codecs it dosent clean uninstall. and if you say one wrong thing to the forum over there you banned forever. use k-light

I can't play mpeg 1 or 2 properly as it goes blurry green. I need a codec to play mpeg properly. "The Vista Codec Pack" didn't help me play the mpeg files normally.

k lite codes the full edition is excellent . i got vista 64, it can play everything, if u want. get the vlc player is better than wmp.
