Back around 2001 I had a guitar store and sold Wayne guitars. I know first hand about the quality. Kinda expensive though. But you get what you pay for.

I agree with you. My Ibanez is one great feeling/playing guitar. It IS part of me. These "Wayne" guitars are WAY better made w/mojo. Hand crafted one at a time by a father and son team. Both are better made, better feeling and sound better then ANYTHING I have ever played before. I just wanted to see what people really thought. You ARE right! I will choose. Mike and Wayne are both a class act and make some of the best guitars around. You cant go wrong buying a guitar from the guy that invented the shredder guitar as we know it. Get the first one, I have a Rock Legend and I love it.

Tough choice. Both seem like a dream to play; very tight, solid & responsive feel in your hands, just like a sports car. Tone-wise: the bulls eye model has a warmer tone, I'm sure it has something to do with the pickup angle; lends itself more to soloing (naturally smooths the high end). The checkered model sounds superb/chunky with those riffs...good luck sir.

I'm interested in that amp! That growling crunch & those mids, can't be beat! I'm definitely keeping an ear to the ground for the 455!

If I was going for Tone Alone... The 1st one has a very Big Sound, It looks great also... I notice you said it feels right... Every one of there Necks has its own "soul" they are hand sanded"

The 2nd one "bullseye" Has i Brighter tone.

I Have a Maple Rock Legend and its has a nice overall bright sound with tons of sustain.

That bullseye sounds like maple, the first one sounds like mahogany. Just a guess

So what one would I get... the 1st one, because the Tone was just monsterous!

I prefer the beefier tone and sustain from the checkered piece - however the other one has a really bright attack, which would be great for lead playing.

it's a tough choice but my vote goes to the first one with that awesome checkered finish. Looks good, sounds great and is probably more versatile due to the smoother beefier tone.

But it might have just been the amp settings, IDK!

Great guitars! Due to the limitations of sound on the computer, YouTube, etc., I can't tell the difference between the two--both sound the same. So going by looks alone, I prefer the checkers.
