@motherplantYAR Good, that way another person who simply can't ignore the stuff they don't like doesn't clog up the RB servers. Seriously, that's like 50 songs out of the like 1500 available across DLC and RBN. Boohoo.
I was under the impression that public domain compostions (i.e. 90% of well known classical compositions) were not allowed on rock band network.
Also, the drums are barely audible, you'd probably wanna turn them up in the RB mix. Unless they were just added for the sake of having drums, in which case you might as well make them no part.
@TheSproingler - Actually, no, PD compositions are allowed.
The RB mixes will have a good drum balance ... not overwhelming (to maintain some semblance of the musical qualities of the original music), but definitely audible.
Some of the music has less of a role for the drum part (e.g., Beethoven's 2nd), but not having them at all would be sad. Think "timpani" instead of "drum set."
Public Domain songs are NOT allowed... usually. Harmonix has said they will make some exceptions, and this is hopefully one of them. Looks good, Bald Mountain's a definite buy from me!
That definitely works. Oceans by Pearl Jam is a song already in Rock Band that has timpani charted to drums for part of it. It ends up being a ton of fun.
@Fauxharmonic Hello, I live in Mexico and I want to download some RBN songs, but i can´t. It says NOT AVAILABLE. Please I like RBN songs. Please answer!
These songs all all incredibly fun!
Can't wait to try some Beethoven Symphonies!

It's a good thing you play Guitar Hero, and don't know what custom songs are, dumbass.
Besides, Guitar Hero hasn't had a good game since 2, not counting AS/Met/SH. 3 was okay, but some songs sucked.

Definitely looking forward to this... it'll be hilarious to see the avatars rocking out to classical music, too.

I've had plenty of fun testing these out! Can't wait for them to go live. Did I see another Beethoven symphony in there?

This is true, but I expect these compositions that are several hundred years old aren't under legal control anymore.
