The guy you have labeled as Makarov at the beginning is actually an undercover agent that you play as for one level. This was revealed in the recent leaked airport footage that everybody is crying about. Good analysis though. I completely missed that it was a russian airport lol

Actually if you pause the vid at the right moment, you can the face of the guy in the black cap has the exact same face as captain Price. So likely, it is Cpt. Price who is also Ghost. But no way to tell for sure till the game comes out.

That may be Captain Price bungee jumping, but I think he will be dead in the present. Possibly it will be a flashback mission, where you are playing as Soap again with Captain Price. Which would be sweet. Like everything about this game.

Depends wether it is a real war. My own theory is that someone simply had a couple hundred men travel into the US under guise, armed them in-country with smuggled in weaponry and then started a war directly inside D.C.

The building looks like one of those along the Washington Mall. Given the red roof tiles, it's almost certainly part of the Federal Triangle.

Looking at google maps, the Federal Triangle buildings are the only ones along the Washington Mall, with a single exception, but that building, directly across the mall from the Triangle, has a distinct shape unlike the one in the trailer.

And, well, Hummers don't have MARPAT or gatling guns today.

The explosions btw do not look like something fired by a predator. Those look more like a 250 pound bomb, which is not carried by the Predator. A Hellfire doesn't produce nearly as big a boom.

Concerning hummer machine gun turrets:

This game is set in the future, ~2012. So it isn't based all on fact.

And if you pause the video right before the explosion, you can see the predator missile fired. Watch the IGN Rewind Trailer; the same aircraft fires it that, according to the video game, fires the predator missile in the campaign. So I'm still convinced that it is supposed to be a predator missile. Regardless, this is not the only thing that might have contradicted real life.

Thanks for your feedback. I don't want to trade all the dramatic effect of the story and music just for the annotations. I think that the longer annotations got the needed pauses. but if I get several complaints, I can add more pauses to other annotation aswell. You can also pause the video yourself.

I kno this because if you luck at the helmets, their different, the guy on the stairs has some sort of camera on it while the guy placing the soldier ground doesnt.

No no no. everyone who says that the guy on the stares is gonna shoot someone on the same team is wrong. Cameras and all that shit doesnt have to match because it just depends on the preference of the soldier. He is getting ready and setting up his tactical posture. You dont go around a wall with your weapon down. You bring it up so incase an enemy does pop down in front of you your weapon is up and ready to fuck someone up.
