Negative attention is a fix for some people. There may be nothing wrong with 'Toby' he may have just been bored. I have done things for negative attention towards people I don't care about for mainly three reasons: 1) I am bored and the DDO servers are down. 2) I do not like them and seek revenge. 3) Hacking and doing bad things always leads to some sort of challenge, whether it is being able to do it, or avoid getting caught, and it is very fun.

Being carebear is not as fun as being bad. imho
