Too many people think that just because you're a buddhist you're perfect. These things do happen and they should be delt with appropriately. Having said that, I am still a supporter of a Free Tibet and of His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and am a Buddhist myself.

Uhm, the US is allowed to have deemonstrations for anything they want. Its' called freedom of assembly. There was a KKK rally in NYC(of all places!) a few years ago. Police did not kill people. US must allow dissent for there to be the strong sense of freedom. Terrorists target innocent civilians. True the violent Tibetans can be sen as such but they are fighting for their own home. Imagine if US or Britain tried to occupy Beijing or China. Would Chinese be terrorists?I hate violence but come on

The protest started as a peaceful demonstration until the Chinese police beat and arrested them which then lead to the riots by the Tibetans.The riots were spontaneous and occured out of emotion.you cannot oppress people for over 50 years and not expect this to happen.i am deeply dissapointed you feel that way. You are not forced to fight against the Tibetans, the Tibetans are forced to stand up for themeselves due to the sufferings they have endured for over 50 years under China.
