  • does PCI - E 2.1 fit to any motherboard with 16 pin PCI - E slot?

  • at 2:12 i have a orgasm !

  • please i need benchmarks to compare it with other card i want to know if it's word the extra money ??

  • @verektemogoool Meet google.

  • Does anyone know of a waterblock that would fit this card?

  • I just bought this card on Amazon! I needed an upgrade from my XFX 5770 1GB, without being much longer, since my case is not big enough to fit the giant cards. My 5770 still runs great, but I want less lag. I don't see how this could be a bad card, especially with 2GB, I can't wait to try it out!

  • @Retrowinter It should be a pretty nice upgrade, though if it were me I might have waited a second generation or gone a little higher, 6950 would be great.

  • @ATLMember Oh my God! I can play Metro 2033, Skyrim, GTA 4, EVERYTHING on max settings with little to no lag! I am playing Skyrim right now, and it blows my mind. Definitely pleased with this card!

  • @Retrowinter could you define "little" please? I'm also considering this card, but I want my money to be well spent

  • @DrDeso1 Buy the card! It is amazing! It performs everything on MAX settings with full detail at the highest resolution. The framerate--it depends which game. Big games like Skyrim, BF3, and Crysis all run on highest settings. It isn't perfect, there may be some parts--during enormous fights where a frame skips--but it does not distract from the gameplay at all and the graphics are incredible! By all means, get the 6990 if you can, but this card--for the price--it blows my mind!

  • @Retrowinter I'm either buying the card tomorrow or on Saturday

I found a 2GB model with dual fans, so that should definitely last me awhile, but I'd rather run SLI or crossfire with another 6870 for as long as I can before buying a 6990 or something in the 7000 series when it comes out

  • @DrDeso1 That sounds like a good plan. I, too, am going to wait for the 7000 series or later for my next upgrade! Good luck with everything :)

  • nice box

  • How is the noise level?

I am undecided between this one and the XFX Dual Fan HD6870 900 Mhz Core 1024 MB DDR5.

A low noise level is very important to me. I currently have a 4870 and it is very loud when playing..

  • @MisterWeed

The noise is fairly low unless you overclock.

  • @MisterWeed It's pretty loud, at least people seem to think it is relative to other cards. I just built my first desktop with this card and the sound doesn't bug me, but I don't have experience to reference it with. A dual fan set up should make it a lot quieter. It's a great card btw, if you're coming from a 4870 it's certainly an upgrade, but you might want to hold out until next year's cards or buy a 6950 for big improvement.

  • @ATLMember I got it by now in the dual fan version and the noise level is very low in my opinion.

Also I couldn't wait because I am playing BF 3 ;) Thanks for all the feedback though!

  • Nice intro and video

  • Hi Brian: I think this is the first unboxing of your's I've seen. Nice job. Straight and to the point. I'm usually a bit skittish about Radeon cards but I'm actually going to look at reviews and check this out a bit more. I'm also going to see if you have some other reviews/unboxings . Thanks again.

  • Its a very nice card and Bryan is just more down to earth than me ,,, I am a madman like Ozzy!!!

  • @motherboardsorg You are a cool reviewer and unboxer, I always give you a thumbs up :D and a like

  • @motherboardsorg and that's what makes your video funny and entertaining, the only other video of his i saw was his finished comp

  • I like this guys videos. They may not be exciting, but thats not what I'm here. I am here to see a product and that's exactly what this guy is doing. Keep it up.

  • is it me or this guy is just boring?where's the old guy?

  • i have a 6870 1 gb card... what would happen if i crossfire with this?

  • @firehidrent56 it would work fine

  • @firehidrent56 if it works you wont be getting much of an improve ment is u CF'ed with a 1GB it will be very small if any

  • nr 30 :d

  • thumps up if u are the nr. 666

  • wow! I'm acctually thinking of buying exactly this card. And what happends? Techtomorrow uploads a unboxing of it! Awesome!

  • Ah... sorry. Wrong window.

  • Haha... The nurse is Harley Quinn.

  • Wow it looks so small, compared to my reference 6870 card.

6870 cards are very good cards for the money.

  • total waste of money same price as the gtx 560 ti but slower

  • @thereddog223

Double the ram, less heat, less power consumption, better features(That you can use in every game/program.Physx only works in certain games), XFX´s insane warranty,....

  • Still does not produce as much fps and with a slight over clock can be faster then a 6950. with 6870 it will not really be able to do much with 2 gigs of ram either.

  • @thereddog223 6870 is like £40-50 cheaper where i live in uk. 560 ti price is about £15 off 6950 here

  • @thereddog223 560 TI is more expensive, and in Crysis I got better frames with the 6870.

  • "2 6 PIN PCI CONNECTORS"

  • good improvement

  • xfx rules

  • Now that I got the 1Gb XFX 6870 with that loud and weak cooler ¬¬

  • @bigdima3 eLric.

  • i got the older one is that one ever small

  • @5british5 Tell me about it, my 6870 is huge compared to that one, lol.

  • I would buy it, if it wasn't XFX lol. They've let me down way too many times (4 Defective 5770's none of which would accept any driver given to it, they would either crash or artifact like crazy.) I'm now on my fifth 5770 which has lasted since April 2011

  • @starwarsfan76 blame amd not xfx, I've had an xfx nvidia card for about 1.5years, still working like it did the first day.

  • @locolalo1364 Not blaming AMD as I've never had any issues with anything other than those four 5770's from XFX. One was just plain DOA.

  • this is why i have fxf, they dont give as much accessories as the other companies do, for the same price often

  • awesome vid dude

  • @Attack3Gamer it will allow for significantly higher resloutions and texture settings in games without lag, which would be the case for the 1GB version.

  • How does this compare to the 1GB version in terms of performance?

  • How does this compare to the 1GB version in terms of performance?

  • Pretty good card if you're on a budget under $200. Great unboxing. :)

  • such a cool intro music and such a "cool" guy presenting it...

  • "anti static bag"... well the bag is useless if u arent wearing a anti static bracelt, or didnt get rid of excess static before hand which it seems like u didnt do or wear either.

  • @tylerwalker2 i have never had a problem used to fuck around with my dell right on the carpet to

  • i wish i could win a card or buy one :-/

  • great unboxing, didnt even know they a 2GB 6870

  • Great vid bro!
