Biffy are amazing, still my fave band by far but you can't beat early Biffy, gone are the days of small, intimate gigs and playing the majority of their 1st two albums! :( Good on them for making it big though.
ur so right... they hit the mainstream and didnt sell out exactly but they did what anyone would do they made the music that made the money. I love theyre old alternative, experimental style but yeh as you say good on them ... it all happened so fast.

They sounded bloody great at wembley - me and my mate were right at the top full of old people and we were screaming the songs like madmen. There was the usual double mosh pit down below as well.
the chorus in this song sounds like blackened sky era biffy. its a cool song but after puzzle theres no way they're gonna go back to writing stuff like toys and jaggy snake.
This is fucking crap. As soon as they get back to their old style the better, then maybe there'll be no little pricks at the front of gigs waiting for Machines to come on. Give me Jaggy Snake, Kill the Old or Eradicate the Doubt any day of the week.

good luck to your bitterness towards new biff and new fans- i'm sure you'll find plenty of other bands that you can love until you believe they have "sold out" or whatever:)
its not a matter of selling out its the fact now live they only play an album of dull tunes that speak nothing new to me and a bunch of kids of posey bastards who stand about doing nothing. i could go see them at tinthepark but im choosing not to. if you saw biffy anytime at barras(there spiritual home) before puzzle you would be a bit bitter to

This is a much bigger sound than their old stuff- they are slowly working their way up to filling huge arenas.
I'm sure they will do some crazy twisting riffs on future songs, be patient.
