While visiting relatives in Augusta, we found A1 via a search for eating places to try out. We tried the restaurant @ 4/28/11 and found it to be very sub-par in terms of quality and price. The Chicken Pot Pie is no longer on the menu, and the average price per dish was @ $12, which is pretty high for the average Mainer. The fish tacos were horrible; small pieces of fish coated in chili powder and then pan fried. Cold corn tortillas, and lots of chunks of cucumber and very large pieces of cil
How is this show so interesting to watch? Oh, I know. Because the food looks amazing. I never thought watching food being cooked could be so fun. Makes me want to try to recreate these receipts. I've tried and failed miserably. lol
@firethower99 why not visit some of the places he's been too :) it's on mu bucket list to visit one or 2 of the BBQ area's he's been to but thats great that you tried to recreate the recipes ^^
The PEOPLE in and around GARDINER MAINE need to be aware of what the city is doing and need to make changes to remove corruption. Take a look at our video "MOST CORRUPT CITY IN MAINE"

Replace the beef flank stake with lamb and you will get a more accurate taste of Greece. (and a lot more flavour in my opinion).
