probably you can tune better than an electric tunner, so in your reality, yes it's out of tune

you definitely need to learn how to tune by ear. if you play guitar and you can't hear that the guitar is out of tune then you need to be a better guitarist. It could have been the way that you bend when you hit the note accidentally but it really sounds like it, oh and the electronic tuners aren't always right.

I agree, I need lot's of practice, i'm practically a begginer. Although, I can hear when the guitar is out of tune.

But, anyway, the guitar was tunned by an electronic tuner. And I disagree, electronic > ear, by far.

Umm electronic tuners get distorted by distance, Any other noise in the room, etc. tuning with harmonics will get you RIGHT on.

I agree. Electronic tuners are always more accurate than using your ear, but I think what ruffles272 is getting at is that if you're in the middle of playing something and you need to tweak a string really quick, it's good to be able to be able to do it by ear because you don't always have the luxury of a tuner. It will take time to get it down. Great playing!

@C4b3z0nLsc No. Just no. It is 10 MILLION times more accurate by ear-training. This is the only things humans still are better than electronics at. You can easily hear when two strings are tuned the same. Electronic tuners under 100 dollars are ALWAYS off in my experience.

Jacksons and gibsons (les paul) are my all time fav guitars. They both have different but great sounds. I guess when i musically grow i will like SSS strats too:) Keep up the good work:P

And I hate stupidity!! All the other songs are played in standard tuning. So you do the math, tune standard to play most of the songs that hes playing, or tune down just s oone song can be better for your liking. Just shutup and watch the video. Good tone, got my amp coming soon, played it and loved it.

Nigtrain is supposed to be tuned half a step down like all GNR songs, i hate wen ppl think u can play GNR in standard tuning

Yeah, you're right, but, if a song is half a step down, it doesn't means that you ALWAYS have to play it that way, anyway, it has to be suited for your singer. In this case it werent, but again, it's playable in any tuning you like lol.

The ke3 is one of my dream guitars. I just got a Gibson 1984 Explorer Reissue. It is great. I got it for just under $1,000. I am going to a Metallica concert, and I am going to see if there is any way that I could get it signed by James Hetfield.

I just saw the gibson on ebay for a really good price... also I am a big fan of EMG's, which the Jackson Kelly doesn't have.

thats why you put in your own custom pickups, if i got one id probably put a blackout in the briidge and leave the neck pickup in. EMG's sound nice but blackouts just sound better.
