  • Her little boy was diagnosed with leukemia, so she moved to Germany to help treat him (Uzbekistan didn't have the best treatments). She now competes for Germany and won the silver medal on vault during the 2008 Olympics. She has been to 5 Olympics, which is amazing for a gymnast.
