I have read that he was very much ill in this performance... As you can see, his face looked flushed and he sweats a lot and his facial expression tells something is really wrong with him... If it was true, then there's no point in criticizing him, however, we should applaud him for being a professional... that is what a true artist is all about... and come on guys, the performance wasn't that bad... Wow the singer is reeeally stiff lol his vocals are way too loud for an acoustic feel. He's a shouter so he cant sing that particular note quietly. It sounds great in a loud band with all kinds of effects and synths burning up the track.

@bigtorquehemi ... I think part of it has to do with their relative inexperience as a band back then. Lots of their acoustic stuff nowadays (eg Sam's Town, Romeo and Juliet, etc) are actually quite respectable. Early projects like this one deserve some slack to be cut.
