  • Those semis sound wonderful, love the sounds of big diesel motors with big turbos going down the track. Makes my blood run cold. Like the one that ran the V12 Detroit diesel sounds almost industrial in some ways. 5 stars as well

  • its a shame some fuckers bought along there umbrellas

  • Those are Chuck Norris' Hot Wheels.

  • just reving the ball bag right off er... but i love every second of it !!!

  • Holy fucking shit thats a lot of torque!!!

  • holy sack

  • I was at a tractor pull at the Allegheny Country fair in Maryland and that first truck 'Built For Business' pulled and the announcer said he has a 1200 something cubic inch motor, and 3600 horsepower.

  • @SayHiToTheBadGuy Stock Cummins KT-450's which were available from the factory in this model KW were 1,150 cubic inches, so 1,200 wouldn't be too difficult to obtain.

I've also heard that some of the diesels used in pulling tractors are making 4,500-HP nowdays.

  • WICKED !! DIESEL POWER !!!!

  • The audio on this home video is "fantastic!" I can rock my apartment building with deep bass sounds of "Heavy Diesels" (which I like)

More like this with audio quality please?

  • how can they shift a cabover? like this ... awesome!!

  • cuz they r auto trannys

  • damn thats powerrrrrr

  • love how wildfire purs when shes getting warmed up.

  • get fu*cked thats tops

  • that first truck is twisting its frame like 10 degrees. just a little torque there. they must put a lot of weight ove rthe back axles to get traction.

  • thats actually the springs or the airbags giving on that side a frame on a truck will not normally twist I have seen trucks roll over and not twist the frame

  • probly the trucks u saw roll over were not using a shit load of torque to go somewhere.

  • no im saying a truck lay over on the interstate with a loaded trailer and the frame not twist

  • @nchayfarmer Watch Nocolas Gagnon pull with his flattop Pete thats frame twist!

  • its not frame twist the frame on a truck will not twist and go back because of all the supports in it I have been to loaded tractor trailer wrecks upside down and cut the driver out and the frame be straight as a arrow

  • NO "thats actully ' a shit load of torque with an ass load of horsepower behind it . all channel frames are designed to twist . thats why most of your heavy duty trucks dont use box frames they are to rigid and will break

  • damn that is a long ass chain. would hate ffor that bitch to snap and go flyin into the crowd

  • I didn't even have to see that nasty cabover move for you to get 5 stars.

  • wow thats a really long chain. most chains that we pull with are only two or three foot.

  • iv seen tom the first truck pull many times but never first only problem with him is that he always breaks somthing but pulls he shit outta a sled whenever hes hooked to it

  • ive seen that first truck 'built for business' pull before, it has 3600 horsepower.

  • holy crap!!!! look at the PWARRRRAGH!!!

  • Wonder if they are all running nitrous? with that size of a motor I would imagine that's mostly turbo and injector work with head studs the size of pepsi cans

  • i never thought a semi could do that

  • talking about pollution

  • Nice vid.. but what kind of regulations/limitations do you guys have in the US? in europe the trucks are only allowed til 3500 rpm engine speed, and we have only a few classes til 12 tons weight. I wish that some of your trucks were also allowed here in the competitions..

  • this is pretty much the unlimited class, these trucks are not street legal if thats what you were talking about.

  • I understand that these trucks are not streetlegal, but within the truckpulling in europe we have a lot of of regulations and limits for the trucks sadly enough. but what are the limits in the US? what's your max weight? and what is the max in rpm/ hp with the engines? or number of cilinders? that's what I mean, thanks for the reply..

  • skys the limit I guess, I have no idea. some of these trucks have 12 cylinders in them. I know the first truck in this video has 3600 horsepower. just what I remember from him pulling at the Allegheny County fair.

  • the semis are limited to a 20,000 pound max weight. but they do have some single turbo classes. these here are the 20k unlimited

  • @ Metsemakers007. Since the sport is started in the USA and Canada I do have a lot of respect for the American pullers.

But in Europe they are not all losers or complete nitwits.

I.e. in The Netherlands there is a truck in the 10,5 ton (approx. 23000lb) which engine is greatly engineered by the Mack co USA; As far as I know they never won a pull.

  • What I want to say the European M.A.N, Mercedes Benz, Volvo, Iveco's and DAF might compete with the American Semis when pulling at approx 3000rpm.

To develop the sport and make it reachable for the people with a tight budget the Dutch run at 2900rpm and the Italians at 4000rpm.

Displacement is approx 18,5 liter (1100cu in). max# of cylinders is 12.

  • God DAM! and Really Who Cares How Much Smoke comes out of the Rigs Stacks.. they r Some Bad Ass Rigs... Dam this was in PA... GodDam it i lived tho im Only 13.. i lived they 4 12 Years my Dad Drove Big Rig Over the Road GodDam Good Video Dude :) i give this a 100...

  • Why do some trucks make lighter smoke and others make darker smoke?

  • Because it depends on how much disel fuel the engine burns.

  • The truck at 3,25 sounds a bit like a supra when it idle's

  • thats because it has a 2 stroke V12 Detroit Diesel

  • Comment removed

  • The engine torque was so prodigious that it was twisting the chassis of the truck!

  • dam that things a beast

  • WATS WITH THE POLSEN ON THE START TRUCK

  • He sure got it done.

  • HOLY SHIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Meen Jelly Been!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Mikeshit, go play with your penis watching your porn collection

  • Wildfire is the best one in my opinion. That Detroit 1271tt didn't have quite as much power as the Cummins, but boy did it ever sound good!

  • same as the last comment...good vid but hold it more steddy.lol

  • good vid but get a tripod, damn lol

  • the first guy who pulled was the best their ever was thats why hes the diesl doctor

  • thats serious torque

  • it look like u never been to india or china where the airs so thik with pulution a avrage person from the us wouldnt be able to breath, why does ever one blame the us when it mostly the poor undevolped cournties that polute?

  • india and china spend oil to increase their low economy level and not for fun.but they' re 2.5 billions!a single american spends much more energy than a single chinese. And remember how many lives were lost in iraq for this oil

  • If you don't like it why do you keep watching it and posting comments moron?

  • because I see the replies in my email, stupid!

  • he has no life and cant get anyone to talk to him any other way...he's a stupid liberal !

  • dumb ass !

  • Why the hate? Americans are far from being the only people that do this, dipshit.

  • Us european like a bit truck/tractor pulling

  • Oh, yeah, because the USA is the only one that does Semi Racing. Half the ones on youtube arent even in the USA. Dipshit

  • Boring

  • yeah you can definatley tell that cab-over KW had a V8 318!

  • That's the torque from the engine twisting the chassis.

    Action and reaction...

  • why do the cars twist like that?

  • top knotch video there ,driver felt like i was there...

  • That 2nd truck with the Detroit 12v71tt sounded AWESOME!

  • The best sounding engines anywere. Those 2 strokes are cool..

  • u got that right, my man

  • wow thats some serious twisting to those trucks frames but they're cool

  • What do you do about shifting gears... do you? Or are they high-rated autos? And where does the chain hook on the back?

  • u dont shift they have special clutches u put it in gear u want and u have to build up so much pressere before it will engage same as a pulling tractor that is why they have to bring the rpms up so much

  • Get a freakin tripod next time.

  • TOO BAD the dum ba$tard on the camera is jacking off. Hold that phuker steady man.

  • Christ that was sexy.. look at the torque twisting that damn chassi... love it!

  • Woah fuck! That thing, has something in it`s engine sucking stuff from around it and squeezing it to the engine so well that it makes that thing just fucking furious! I LOVE IT!

  • How many rpms does one of those turn?

  • I think most are in the 3,000-3,500rpm range...a couple may be a little closer to 4,000rpm. That doesn't sound like much but you have to consider the size of these engines. Much more mass and weight swinging around inside a kt600 cummins than your typical small block chevy at the drag strip.

  • Thats not pollution, its little bits of carbon, totally inert and harmelss.

  • unburned fuel.....and actually they have proven that older diesel engines emit more pollutants.....even though that is a kick ass shade of black (smoke)! ;-)

  • I like to eat hippies like this as a breakfast :)

  • MEAN machines!

  • the first cummins was awesome.. you got power when ONE tire lifts from the grown. that frame needs fo be boxed of something, probably already done lol

  • Nope the frame isn't a double frame or boxed!

  • Cameraman needs a tripod...steady up, dude!

  • Any 1 here thing thopse truck would do good at el rodeo or notre dame du nord, rodeo du camion..? I wonder howmuch power they make..?

  • those cabovers are cool, look at my 352 in ireland!!!great video

  • BUY a tripod for camera

  • The chasis twist was awesome!!

  • Sled killers fo sho.....

  • Thats not a hot rod fark you.

  • wow saddam go back to your country you tard

  • I don't care what it is. Any vehicle powerful enough to twist it's chassis like these trucks demands respect. Great film. try to keep the camera steady on the next one though. lol

  • whats up with the "ghugging" idles?

  • The Camshaft, it is a cam designed for high rpm power... the same reason a drag car has a rough idle

  • Actually its caused by the extreme timing they are running on the injection pumps...

  • Yep and Cam! Timeing is the big thing!

  • n.3 was a detroit 12v71 or 12v92 or somting,v12 2 stroke

  • don't u have anything better to do other than criticize the backbone of this country (the working class)

  • Do you have a hobby?Something you enjoy doing or watching? If so, then shut the hell up, stop being a hypocrite.Keep the hammer down and don't feed the bears.God bless the good ol U.S.A.!

  • you are a dupe, all that black smoke is is ash.

It would take TRILLIONS of those trucks to make the same amount of ash in a minute as a volcano releases in a second.

you are worse than hitler if you think people should be gassed... its better to be a redneck than a liberal communist, go to hell

  • wow

  • go the sceamin demon

  • cool vid,i wish my truck had the same power as these

  • If it did you'd be confined to the dirt strip. Can you imagine the fine you'd get for street racing with one of those monsters? LOL

  • What Abot no-4? the Conventional!

  • I'd venture to say Cat 3406.

  • no-1 cumming no-2 detroit no-3 detroit

  • actually, no 3 was a cat

  • 3 Was Dana Lindsey and it has AN KT600 In It!

  • My Bad Thats #4 With The KT600 In It! Missed the Third Truck!

  • That first truck....am I listening to a Cummins M11E? Please specify what Cummins engine the first one had....cuz THAT WAS LOVELY!

  • 1st is kt600, look on the site..

  • Its a kt600

  • Compete on Street Races with This things without the weight sled and see what happens

  • dont need supra, i need audi quattro

  • i dunno, the white smoke is just the diesel when its cold

  • yes tru but in a failure case the white can indicate a head problem or even an impending turbo failure.coolant as water injection, haha thats funny, but oil can cause, in excessive amounts, runaways and as for why u dont see detroits idunno maybe u will after this post

  • there like all 2 strokes i think. But the 2nd 1 was DEFINATLY one:)

  • The first truck had a Cummins..Second sounded like a 12V71 Detroit and the third may have also been a Detroit.

  • Love the sound of the 2nd truck with the detroit 2 stroke. Those things scream like nothing else.

  • oil, leak would cause runway dieseling

  • Puto americanos, ¡¡¡ QUE BURROS SOIS !!!

    Capa de Ozono:0 - Americano paleto:1

  • hey dieslmechanic i dont think ur right the white smoke could be over fueling you see a piston cant compress water it would damage the head i coul be wrong tho

  • you are right, white smoke can be raw fuel but only in a "cold" engine when the engine is hot it burns and turns black. also white can be antifreeze.but the turbo burns nothin all it does is provide air. water/methanol injection cools intake charge of air. but is not necessary and too much will detonate pistons. read diesel power mag

  • well u know ur stuff more than me cool

  • i dunno why you dont see more detroits in drag diesels

  • coolant leak is water injection

  • HOLY SHIT!

  • wow thats one mean machine

  • just insane!!!:O

  • hey diesellover the white smoke is from the water being injected into the piston along with diesel to keep the piston from melting...

  • yeah ur right anormal piston can heat to about 2000 to 3000 while a diesel can heat to 7000+ degrees

  • Raw POWER in these things, twisting the whole chassis from the torque!

  • the thing was lifitng off the ground

  • good video

  • the white smoke is just raw fuel that turbo aint up enought o burn it yet

  • i want a diesel bad

  • these things could easily turn over backwards if you unhook hte trailer and let them loose, the white smoke is raw fuel and no boost,

  • diesel, nitrous, and lots and lots of fuel and booost, diesel is godd like

  • HOLY HELL those things has a lot of torque!

  • duh
