  • Well this is okey. You could also take a look, how does Pétur Sakari play this piece!

  • Sounds magnificent...

  • Quest'organo ha fatto una brutta fine purtroppo !! mi spiace molto !

  • On ne se fatiguera jamais de ces élans du coeur et de ces montées vertigineuses de l'âme vers l'éternité.

  • I will be having this for the recessional at my wedding next month, a great piece of music. The choir will be singing Beati Quorum Via as an Introit and the anthem is Blessed be the God and Father by Wesley. I will also be singing in the choir for my own wedding (I am not missing out on some great music).

I am so sorry to hear about the loss of such a magnificent instrument.

  • Thanks and best wishes for your wedding!

  • una meraviglia perduta.... stupenda anche l'esecuzione del brano di Vierne.

  • The pedal is too quiet.

If u have an 32' Untersatz or an 16' Bombarde it would be better, but REALY GOOD PLAYED ^^

  • Complimenti sia all'organista che allo strumento di rilievo!

  • WHOA!! at 1.56min, the playing TEMPO is so MUCH slower than the other video...the slower tempo is GOOD...gives more EXPRESSION....WELL PLAYED esp with the video...

THANK YOU so much mr kreutzbach!!!

  • This is an outstanding achievement. Kudos for you!!

  • @logica10 Thanks for your compliments!

  • Thanks for this interesting video. You must have been devastated at the loss of such a fine organ.

  • @Offshoreorganbuilder A shocking experience indeed, but I hope to rebuild it even better than before!

  • @kreutzbach Good luck!

  • What is the note sequence for the theme on the pedals? I've been trying to learn it.

  • @CzarLyrus You can download for free the entire score from the IMLSP portal, searching for Louis Vierne and Simphony no. 1. The Final is the last movement. Many people noted that this heroic theme has a vague resemblance with the beginning of La Marseillaise, the French national anthem!

  • If the original organ sounded half this good, it must have been spectacluar!

  • @drewedwards8484 Perhaps the virtual reconstruction sounds a bit better than the original, but I'm also using it to test the specifications of the new organ.

  • I thought I was going to have a heart attack when the sound first came!!! it sounds so beautiful!

  • good registration and very good tempo

  • So sorry to hear of your church's loss! Vierne, Widor and Durufle` are all favourites of mine. Hope it isn't long before you are back at that console once more!!! God Bless!

  • Very convincing sound, how long before any attempt is likely on a new organ?

  • Thanks! It's hard to make forecasts, but, if all will go well, 3-4 years to start the building of the new organ.

  • Wonderful sound - you've done an amazing job with this.

  • Thanks for your kind comments!

  • Great sound of the organ, and a mesmerizing playing

  • Thanks for your appreciation!

  • very convincing! (Y)

  • @aidavdbrake Jawohl

  • i would kill for a sound like this in my home! :$

  • @aidavdbrake : And then the police, the initial magistrate, the judge, the jury and then the hangman would have work to do and greater justification for the gold in their pocket. Why not save up and purchase a two-manual harpsichord with pedale.

  • well, we don't have juries in the netherlands only those for talent shows, nor do we do death penalties, we're a pretty liberal country, you know, but did i mention the killing was meant to be virtual, just like the organ? and a harpsichord? nah, i own a III man / 59 stop draw stop rodgers oxford 945, thank you very much. ;)

  • We have used this for the Procession out of the Cathedral, it is grand. Thank you so much.

  • Absolutely formidable. Such a shame we couldn't hear it on the real thing! But regardless, a nice sounding digital replica.

  • What beautiful playing and a technical marvel too. The story of San Vincenzo Church is heartbreaking. Thank you for keeping it alive in this way!

    Grazie.

  • Thanks for your compliments and your solidarity!

  • nothin to improve :) 5/5

  • Thanks for your compliments!

  • Very nice! Good virtual rendition of the instrument, but above all - really great playing!

  • Absolutely fantastic

  • Bellissimo!

  • molto bravo! Peccato per l'organo andato distrutto....

  • Spettacolare! Fantastico! Grande!
