  • wtf he is not humain

  • frank morris may be good but chuck norris is better

  • chuck norris?

  • i solved a 15897x1515x1151525151

  • No clicking?

  • i can solve a 1x1x1

  • lol so far, i can solve every rubics squair rubiks cube in the world up to a 7x7!

  • next to the tire the rubix cube is mans' greatest creation.

  • braniac

  • lmao one minute per number of rows!!

really cool, i m currently still on the 5x5x5 (and therefor have done 3x3x3 and 4x4x4) and the megaminx. those 4 that i have really get attention, wonder what someone would say if they saw me w/ one of those!!

  • prototypes didn't click, right?

  • I don't think that is possible because the inne core pieces would go out of alignment.

But this one sure seems far more sturdy then my V-6... Or he's REALLY precise in his turning.

  • well at the us nationals, the creators son told me that the prototypes don't click. i think it had the design of an eastsheen, with the one cubie coming out of the core, maybe not.

  • Ohhh, that makes sense. Of course in it's current design, that is not possible. They would have to rework the core pieces or something.

But something did catch my eye on the twistypuzzles forum. There is a thread in the general section called "V-cubes update" that says they are producing a "clickless" V-6 that will address the problems the one out now has. But what I wonder is why they just didn't use the clickless mech to begin with.

  • the v-cube clicks because of a patent infringement with the ES cubes. they do have the same mechanism, so to make them patentable, they had to click. the 6b however, is pillowed, which doesn't infringe with the EastSheen company, therefore it doesn't have to click!

  • Oh I see, so basically Eastsheen patented the "hook" design on the 6x6 before the v-cube people. To get around it, they had to make it click.

  • it's not so much they patented it for a 6x6, but for all geometric cubes. Thats why pillowed cubes shouldn't click.

  • You mean the design they patented is in effect for all cube designs in general as long as they have flat faces?

  • to the best of my knowledge, yes.

  • I didn't know they could do that. I thought each cube's design had to be patented individually. Like, I thought Verdes patented each cube up to the V-11, but the "hook" mech could be used if someone designed a "V-12" somehow because it wasn't patented for that cube size.

  • hm.... maybe. i don't really know any more than I have learned at competitions from other cubers :P.

  • Same with me basically, except replace "competitions" with "the twisty puzzles forum", lol!

  • @NerdGradeA1 You fail. It clicks to stop the mehanism coming out of alignment... "Pillowed cubes shouldn't click"! The are pillowed because of the size of the cubies and the fact that it is pillowed to give the stems of the corners more plastic so they don't break.

  • ok fine. I have a pillowed 6x6 DS and it doesn't really click, so I guess I was wrong. But what I was saying is that I heard that the prototypes were clickless, and that ES didn't have a patent on pillowed cubes. I'm just saying what has been said to me. Seriously, the comment was 2 months old. Just let it go next time.

  • Let it go. I only mentioned it. I didn't drag it out.

  • huhuhuhu!!where can i buy that

  • v-cubes.c0m

  • wvvw.v-cubes.c0m

  • does anybody know about v8 and 9?

  • not happening yet

  • LOOK! at the beginning of the video frank morris is sitting next to mr verdes himself!

  • he's done that many times lol

  • mr verdes is to the of him

    ps his right

  • Referring to briancarter09, of course.

  • how can i get my hands on one of those monster cubes?

    i have a 5x5 biggest...

i want to see if my theory is correct, that the same method solves every size from 5x5 and above (a method i invented).

so where can i buy a bigger cube? thanks.

  • Read the comment section - see the URL there.

  • im sorry, i didnt find where i can buy a big cube in the links.

    maybe im blind?

    please copy the link here.

    thanks.

  • Look in the video description text where the link says (more info)

  • I wouldnt say the SAME method, cause i have a 6x6x6 and i solve it. But since its and even # cube, there is the chance of the 4x4x4 parities and 5x5x5 parities, so be prepared :O. and also for the last 2 sides before u do the outer edges, or "wing edges" or what should u call it, is kinda difficult, but there is an algorithm for it for easier solves.

  • the algorithm for 5x5 and above is exactlly the SAME.

if the number is even or not just affects the need for arranging the center side wings. everything else is completely the same in my theory...

anyway where can i get 1 of those?

  • yeah noamzile is right

  • they only thing people can get stuck on is last 2 centers but yes there is an alg for that

  • then why don't you make a video of you solving the Rubik's cube in under 5:57.

  • it seems in every negative comment, someone needs a life...

  • Whoa whoa whoa! Hypocriticalness! You say that a guy with a record of 5:37 needs a new method, friends and a life. Yet you have 4:46. Doesn't that mean YOU need a life? Think before making stupid comments like that.

  • why did they add the frekin lok to it Its great right hear

  • I want your's myn is loud and kepps breaking

  • what the heck does that mean

  • I can do this shit in like 5 minutes and 12 seconds. I am so fast that he can smell my fart

  • Does that even make sense?

  • wow the dude must be a "jenious" get it? haha genious? nvm...

  • lol

  • why can't the 6x6x6 cubes they sell be that smooth and quiet?!?!

  • thay jsut keep goin bigger o.O

  • holy shit...wow

  • new world record..lol

  • Why does the shipping cost so much??? AAAAAAAAAAH!!!!! and i can only get them from greece... its like paying three eastsheens just to ship an empty package! AAAAAAAA

and i hate parity algs too >:{(

  • It costs a lot to ship because they come from Greece

  • Yeah but I just had two of those Chinese megaminxes shipped from Hong Kong and the shipping was only 5 bucks, for a grand total of $17.00USD.

I just cheeked and it's 12400 km from where I am to Hong Kong but it's only 8500 km from here to Greece.

My theory on the steep shipping cost is the close proximity to the Sicilian mafia. I mean they gouge all the businesses in that part of the Mediterranean.

I think I'm just going to what for the Chinese to make a cheap knock-off of the 6x6x6.

  • yes but the company has a patent untill 2023

  • there was some crazy stuff at 5:25

    wow

  • Lol a parity fix. Hated trying to memorize that!

  • wow impressive

  • where do i get one of those?

  • This 6x6 doesn't seem to click like most of the other V-Cube 6x6's. Maybe because it's a prototype.

  • Thats what happens after a year of use.

  • Yeah, I plan on doing that even if mine comes assembled, its another puzzle in it self.

  • I want one of those but not for $98.

  • the was awesome

  • My 6x6x6 and 7x7x7 arrived today....The 6x6x6 was in pieces! Looks like it got disassembled during delivery. Was able to put it back together after a few hours. Don't ever want to do that again!

  • ah. man, that musta sucked...

  • hey by any chance your didn't come in a box did it. it came in a back right?? i herd they do terrible in shipping by taking care

they should be in a box.....

  • I just noticed.. he almost drops it at 0:37, that wouldn't have been good. But he is a pro and probably would have just picked it up and still solved it under 5 and a half minutes or whatever time he got.

  • Looks like they are getting too many people logging on to their site and the server can't handle the load.

    You get this message:

The server is temporarily unable to service your request due to the site owner reaching his/her bandwidth limit. Please try again later.

  • its working now

  • why the hell is the website down right now?

  • ok....if u guys notice.....this is one that he JUST PICKED UP...and it does not look stiff at all

  • omg the algs on that look so complicated!!

  • YES!!! THEY'RE IN! ORDER NOW!!!!

  • omg the v-cubes are up for sale now!

  • You better logon to their site and order now!

  • where do u get those

  • i want those really bad

  • It's June!!! But no pre-orders yet?! I'm going insane! :)

  • i will:D

  • whats a V-Cube

  • Omg

  • 6x6x6s and 7x7x7s are really easy... but I'd like one that I can hold in my hands rather than the ones on Gabbasoft :)

  • yea

  • ok well that should have been a reply to Podbolih, who seems to think that a 3x3x3 cube has just 3 sides and 4x4x4 has 4 sides and so on. reply button doesnt work

  • im not sure which one i am going to buy 6x6 or 7x7 6x6 is more of a challenge though cause of parity and it weights more and cube shape lol and its cool and 7x7 is a funny shape but i am geting 7x7

  • is he like the only person in the world to have one of these

  • nope

    some guy name george too..

  • georges actually

    huge collection

  • i like how he puts the cube down~

  • Ha ha I was thinking the same thing.

  • btw, i meant what Podbolih says is nonsense, not the video itself...

  • that is absolute nonsense

  • that is the stupidest thing i have ever heard. shame on you

  • its the number of cubies (squares) going across, down, and back. look at a 3x3 and it has 3 cubies by 3 cubies by 3 cubies

  • i like how he puts the cube down after he is finished

  • ***For all those wondering how to get the 6x6 and 7x7, they will be released in september to the general public. All those who have been in contact with v-cubes over the last five years up to march 3rd of this year will have the chance to order them in June from the website.***

  • frank morris you da man.

  • Where might one find a 6x6x6 V-Cube, I've been searching for hours, even on the website it says they only have protocols and the release for 6x6x6 and larger cubes will be in September. Is there a site that has them released already? Or is there somewhere I can place a custom order for a larger cube to be made? Any answers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for your time.

  • What is the difference between v-cube and Rubik's cube?

  • It uses a mechanism that is much more sturdier than the regular Rubik's Cube. The mechanism also allows for much larger puzzles (e.g. 11x11x11).

  • cool cube, where u get the 6

  • it does kinda lock up at 41 but thats still better then rubiks cubes

  • ...a re Elladara ti ftiaxneis!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • ITS SO FUCKING SMOOTH!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • That V-cubes is great...

  • I can't believe how smooth that cube looks! the V-Cube guys have done an amazing job with this project!

  • the more pieces the smoother

  • Not for Rubiks. Isn't it funny how the original maker makes the worst cubes?

For Rubiks, the more pieces, the more prone it is to lockups, pieces popping out, and pieces snapping.

  • I gotta get that cube

  • the 5x5 is $30 at my local Barns and Noble

  • That's a huge rip-off. I got an Eastsheen for about 12 bucks online.

  • I really want an eastsheen where do you get them?

  • like he said...

    online.

  • Try cube4you... I can't remember the exact web addres, try googling it.

  • i lol at u all i ordered the rubiks 5x5 studio like 43 bucks

  • East Sheen 5x5x5 is $19 but they come from China so you have to pay alot in shipping. I chose the cheapest which was $6 and its supposed to take 3-4 weeks, maybe longer. Next choice is $16 and all the way up to like $40 I think...Its worth it though

  • yeah, but can you get an eastsheen 6x7 or 7x7?

  • i do NOT want to know how that is put together when i don't even get the 4 x 4

  • OMG how is it not out!

it looks perfect to me :O

    ive been waiting forever

  • at about 4:50 he turned it into a 3x3x3

  • that must be a bitch if thoughs pieces fall off

  • I want a 6X6X6 and maybe an 11X11X11,just for the hell of it :p

  • Once V cubes get released, I want to get the 11x11, 5x5, and 7x7

  • They are never coming out, mr. verdes has been saying that they come out any time soon for like forever.... im so tired of waiting.

  • look at their website, they're coming out in september.

  • and u get a chance to preorder sumtime in june..remember they're still in their prototype phase. it takes A LOT of tests to make sure that they are actually giving you wht they say they are giving you.

  • I wonder how much they'll be

  • thts wht i want to kno too :-p

  • my guess is likr $60

  • if thts 60 for all three not bad, but for just one of 'em (being the 5x5) then damn :-p

  • $60 is a F**KING SCAM!

  • not if its for all three dude..i got 2x2 - 5x5 for like 49.9. But this is a fucking 5x5 - 7x7...thts a pretty good deal in my opinion.

  • ohh i thought u meant that for 1...

  • my guess is that each cube will cost around $50 US

  • My guess is the 5x5x5 will be around $30, 6x6x6 around $40, and 7x7x7 around $50...But think about what has to be going on inside of a 7x7x7, the design and construction of it...its crazy...I think $50 is reasonable...

  • hmm. Me too. But I kind of was bored in school and the first thing that popped in my mind was how I think the corner piece looks (kind of odd). I pictured it having a really long tail that "hooks" at the end. And it's design allows it to stay in

  • I am not going to get any more cubes above 4x4 now, going to wait for those since they move much better.

  • Well, at least get an eastsheen 5x5x5. They are so smooth, it's just.. well... scary

  • i want that 7x7x7 one it shows him solve because the shape is jsut so cool that cubes is like weird looking after seeing that vid xD

  • the only reason he has that because he is a sponsor if v cube there comming out september in grecce

  • they're coming out in september

  • I want one 6x6x6 , Where are you ?????

  • It moves with so much ease.

  • wow, id never be able to solve that....lol.

  • umm who knows where i can buy one of those cubes?

  • where did u buy that

  • how

  • he is fast but it must be really hard to cheap with all those small peases

  • its been 2 days and i cant get it, and it doesnt say that at the olympicube website

  • it was released but i think we still have to wait to buy it

go to dravions video and on his website it says u can get one this week

  • whts his website?

  • its on a free site page jsut look on his profile it says it at the bottom of his little biography thingy

  • but is the video on here?

  • umm just type in 6x6 rubiks cube and the title i think is My Rubiks 6x6 or something

  • 2 more days and we can get it i think

    woooh

  • Where did you get that information from?

  • some guy with a 6x6

and go to olympic cubes website it says it

  • if rubiks came out with a 6x6 i wouldnt buy it. id wait for these to come out. I like the white plastic. Black is too original

  • some greek dude has made 6x6x6-11x11x11 prototypes but rubik's is only mass-producing 6x6x6 to start off with around feb. 24 i think

  • Wow... that's crazy!

  • like u, because why would u be searching for it. ;-p

  • Does anyone know when everything up to the 11x11 will be able to be bought?

  • Try waiting a good decade? ;) They're just coming out with a major-brand 6x6x6 (as demonstrated in this video). That's 5 more to go. Given MAYBE estimated 2 years per cube for a new product, that's about 10 years. Assuming they don't stop.

  • The company that made that 6x6x6 has also made 7x7x7s (or just one? at least one, anyhow). They also have plans to make up to 11x11x11s using the same basic design. I doubt they'll take that long.

  • you can buy a 11x11 im pretty sure

  • when will the cubes be available after the toy convention

  • how come the olypic cubes are white i like it but i just want to know if you could get a balck one if the ever come out

  • There apparently will be black models. Erik Akkersdjik has a black 5x5x5 Olympicube.

  • thx man i want to get all color if they come in like blue grreen u know
