i just ordered 2 of these ASUS ML248H from new egg for like 220. each. 1 each for my bud and i. he is buying. but i build and maintain his system for him so.. i was waiting for black friday maybe a lil better deal- free shipping something.. its ok- i think they will be nice monitors for around 200 bucks.. if i had an extra 200 bucks i might have ordered the samsung px2370. my main focus is gaming- tn type is best for gaming so. i hope i will be happy. ive never used a lcd- prefer my crts..

i am so fuckin pissed off i bought the older version of this monitor a couple months ago and i have the stupid shitty ring stand. why didnt you just just use this stand in the original models. who the fuck has a computer desk thats so "modern" that their chair is higher then their desk? at least sell the smart view stand separately.

@DownhillDestination I brought the older one too. I have no problems with it. But I'm pissed off that they changed the bolt (the thing where you weld the ring stand with the monitor) so that the older one is not compatible to a better stand since its basically the same LED monitor just different stand xxxD. But for me its not a reason to exchange the model or to sell it.. I think its okay and still looks sexy :)

@KingOfSand100 I believe you're thinking of the MS series. AFAIK Newegg doesn't carry this series right now. That said, I'm happy with my MS238H :).

@iganbarelytohg Unfortunately I have no idea. I noticed its available at Amazon (though has a "Ships in 2 to 4 weeks" status) for $215 with free shipping. I'm not quite sure if there are any other notable differences from the MS series apart from the stand though (the MS series having a "ring" stand which doesn't allow the monitor to be "naturally" placed at less than a 95 degree angle though this hasn't bothered me).
