  • Which one was Peru?

  • Seriously? The distance to the sun was a million dollar question?? Isn't that common knowledge? I picked that one first for that reason.

  • @ZOSO900 me too i was surprised it was

  • @ZOSO900 The questions in WWTBAM were significantly easier in general than in later seasons. John Carpenter acknowledged this himself.

  • Peru-> This is where Paddington Bear is originally from (David Goodman)

Richard Nixon-> The U.S. President who appeared in Laugh-In (John Carpenter)

93 Million-> the distance (in miles) between the Earth and the sun (Dan Blosky)

  • i wish i was alive when the good version of millionaire was around D:

  • Regis never gets old.

  • Regis please come back to Millionaire. Not this piece of shit we have today. I was two months shy of turning 18 when this happened. I would love to go on Millionaire if you did another Prime Time special.

  • Did anyone notice that he called her a bitch like 4 times?

  • 50000 dollars .... big deal .....

  • This was great comic relief after what happened before.

    8-23-09 Never Forget :(

  • Even when he is a contestant, he is still a better host than this girl.

  • how does she get that check instantly and already signedÉ!

  • @Nem92 if i remember correctly all those questions? Theres a check made out to the contestant for every single one, from 100-1 million, there already made out.

  • @Nem92 a computer already prepares a check with the contestants name on each amount they have a potential of earning

  • Hehe I love how at 3:32 Regis is all confident of himself

  • I remember the peru question, cuz i did a play of Paddington Bear in 4th grade lol!

  • WTF kind of question is this?!

I think Regis is a better contestant than he was when he hosted.

  • Glad us hayesmen got that money :D

  • Richard Nixon was one of the million dollar questions from the John Carpenter episode, the first guy to win the grand prize. How could he not remember that?

  • considering he is turning 80,, he looks pretty amazing.. must be all that tennis.

  • "ITS NAUGHT!?" in his mind "YOU BITCH!"

  • @MrNiceGuySMKM

    @4:24

    he said you...dog lol

  • "IT'S NAGHT!" XDD!!!!

  • You dog you!

  • oh wow Regis played!? now ive seen everything!! the new meets the old!

  • Regis actually made a mistake in the beginning. He was actually there for nine winning $1,000,000 questions, not eight. All of the winning $1,000,000 answers from primetime: 1.Richard Nixon (John Carpenter) 2.93 million (Dan Blonsky) 3.Moth (Joe Trela) 4.Isaac Newton (Bob House) 5.Lesotho (Kim Hunt) 6.Peru (David Goodman) 7.Igor Sikorsky (Kevin Olmstead) 8.N (Bernie Cullen) 9.Insecticide (Ed Toutant on his return appearance after losing on a bad $16,000 question the first time)
  • @MetalSmasherGaming No kidding. Are you going give us a cure for cancer??? No, go away.

  • @MetalSmasherGaming maybe is because kevin olmstead won $2.18 million dollars

  • Regis was a good sport when Meredith teased him into thinking he was wrong.

  • God, I can't believe he died today :'(

  • @TheLizzardOh Hate to break it to you, but he is still alive and well.

  • @kingreich22 That was posted Oct. 7 when people thought he was dead.

  • A,B and D were answers from the million dollar question. The Grapes of Wrath never was

  • bill nye is the expert!

how much awesome does the building contain?

  • @8bitPikachu Bill Nye standing by!

  • @8bitPikachu OVER 9000 pounds of awesome!

  • The "Richard Nixon" question was the most badass win ever.

  • She raked him over the coals. That was quite entertaining. Very nice.

  • the host is dressing like crap

  • 2:45-2:48 after regis says he doesn't need any help, Meredith is turned on.

  • is it me?? or it looks like that act was written?

  • 1:22 lol + 4:11

  • Lol at around 2;55 someone from the audience yells out, "You go Girl" hahah

  • i love how his real personality comes out instead of being the typical uptight impatient host he always was.

  • @safetosaydontquoteme I do too!!!

  • wait a minute? isnt she sitting in the hot seat? hes in the hosts seat.

  • @ILoveLGG okay nevermind i just watched a related video. oops.

  • I knew this answer instantly, shows how much of a Millionaire junkie I have been for the past decade +.

  • It's very cool to see Regis Philbin on the hotseat.

  • i'd say regis is the better host

  • @carrieunderwood5223 i agree. I saw lot of millionaire editions around the world and he is the better host.

  • Lol. His Albanian side comes out from 3:00 - 3:30.

  • Isnt he already rich ? :P

  • @krirre Yep. In the info box it says that he was playing for charity.

  • um no it wasnt did u even see the original question?

  • BILLLLLLLL NYEEEEEEEEEEEE

  • it would have been so epic if he won

  • This is great. It would have been greater if Regis did his phone a friend to talk to Alan Alda or Donald Trump.

  • regis is the best host : )

  • what was the answer about PERU?

  • "In the Children's book series where is Paddington Bear Originally from?"

  • lol yea thanks now i remember !!

  • The original question with the answer Peru was about a children's book. Can't remember the title though.

  • I think Millionaire is the only game show I can think of to have had two hosts be contestants on the other's.. I don't know how to finish that but you see where I'm going with this.

  • @inatspong i have thought that for along time you are right.

  • ..."I'm Gunna DOUBLE DIP"

with a hard P at the end lol!

  • wow regis reaction when he said "its not" was so dramatic lol

  • Wait a minute! I am the host here!!! SO LOL!!!!

  • easy question!!!

  • Regis is so awesome! But at 4:20 it seems like Regis hugged Meredith a bit too hard...

  • I really don't remember Peru. Which question was that one.

  • Where Paddington Bear was originally from. It was David Goodman's question.

  • Ah yes, the one where you could clearly hear the phone a friend searching google for it.

  • there was no rules for that back then

  • @mecha03 that was the half a million?

  • @kungfurabbits i remember that, the guy used all 3 lifelines on that question and his phone a friend googled it

  • YOu know they should make a rule that when you reach 25,000 you get the 50:50 Lifeline. Even though it would be kinda unfair because of 50:50 + Double Dip.

  • I lol wicked hard every time i watch from m3:05 to 3:10

  • Knew that one.

  • That wasn't so hard, now was it?

  • I love how he says "I'm gonna double dip!", then raises his hand and looks all proud of himself at 3:06.

  • Well, if I knew I could guarantee myself a win with Double Dip, I'd be pretty excited myself. :p Plus the audience knew he had it in the bag with that lifeline choice, too.

The main drawback of the lifeline is not being able to use it when you don't want to risk your money (even though it didn't matter in this case), so it's a good feeling when you can eliminate 2 answers and therefore eliminate the risk. It's something that its predecessor (the 50/50 lifeline) could not always provide.

  • Sometimes 50:50 would eliminate the two answers you already narrowed down, making the lifeline useless, for Double Dip you have to narrow the answers down carefully.

  • Lmfao he was like "Oh you doooogg... Oh you dooggg.. oh you dog" lmfao this guy is great :).

  • Cool!!

  • The answer was kind of obvious, but it was a great way to finish the tenth anniversary. If they took the clock off the actual contestants, I'd watch this show again.

  • yeah the clock ruins it

  • @FoxMedina well the clock's gone now

  • @wiiguy145 posted that 1year ago. check the date next time

  • SWEEEET
