Spider-Man moves 40 times faster than a peak level human (in other words Captain America or Batman), can support a skyscraper with his spine, and can take crazy beating without being affected. The reason why the shock batarangs are one-hit ko's are due to the pacemakers inmates wear, not because they can magically ko anything and everything. He returned to get it out but a jealous coworker tampered with the machine to make people spider-man and Miguel accidentally triggered it. He then became Spider-man but one that fights against alchemax.
