@volksracing1 wrong. I've ridden and raced for years and never had a transmisson issue. I split the cases on my last 250 and after 3 years, 5 sets of clutch plates, 6 top ends....the tranny looked just fine. No significant cog, shit fork, or bearing wear. you can't shift under power obvioulsy but speed shifting doesnt hurt a thing if done right.
