Thanks for posting this I haven't seen this in years when SyFy posted the repeats. this is when television was worth watching, it's all crap now a days
I thought I knew quite a bit about tv culture ,1960's-70's but I was totally surprised , and delighted to find these shows. thanks to hwy61media and UTUBE !
I consider myself a big fan of horror and suspense but I am ashamed to say that I had never heard of this series. Thanks so much.I'm really enjoying these!
I met John Newland many years ago and mentioned how much I loved One Step Beyond and he talked about it and I remember he said, at the end, that all the stories presented on the show were true. He said it defiantly as if daring me to disagree, I understood he had come under fire many times before.
Yes, I was thrilled to see him in person, he was incredibly tall, had a rather violent sunburn, looked painful, but he was very gracious. I felt bad he had to be so defensive, I could only imagine how many times he had has to defend his show.
I LOVE this show, thank you so much for the posts.

Ah, they don't make 'em like this anymore! What a solace on a cold, gloomy Sunday afternoon. Thanks so much!

What a great experience! I'm sure he did come under fire on a regular basis. He was one of the many pioneers of early television.
Thanks for commenting.
