This is probably one of the cheesiest video games ever made, which is why it is in the opposite of high demand. But the fact that it is so corny is why I want to get it. It's fun to play retro games that give you a good laugh don't you think? You should see some of the reviews for this. I just want it because its rare, and I the loved Captain Planet cartoon as a kid.
@MaeganG1803 You're right. Instruments of Chaos: Young Indiana Jones, has to be one of the absolutely, most godawful games I'd ever played. But it was like they were trying to make it terrible, and it's so hilarious. Bad games like that can be fun because you wonder if anything at all was even detected in the playtesting department. Thanks for your comment, Maeg.
Thanks for the upload. I'm not sure why, but lately, I've been in the mood to go into my vault of memories and get things now that I wanted as a kid and didn't get then. So I bought a Sega Nomad, mainly to play games I always wanted, like Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Moonwalker, Old Madden games, Street Fighter, and lots of others. Because of your video, I found out Captain Planet had a game. Next games on my list; Home Alone and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
@outlander145 You need to use power economically so that you don't run out of power so fast. Do not use TRIPLE shots unless critical. Always use SINGLE shots of power.
I don't think the game is that bad. It's far more playable than the NES game. I don't look at it as if it's a spinoff of a crap TV show, I look at it as a game. And as a game, it's not bad.
The only reason it's as "playable as Action 52" is probably because you're playing it on Hard mode. Play it on Easy and Normal and you'll see it's an okay game.
Don't get me wrong: the game's not great, it's not the best game in the world, but it is a good game, especially considering the subject matter.
@VGRetro Again, aside from some of the level design. I pretty much only get the feeling that Hard mode does nothing more in most games than simply reduce the amount of hits you can take before you die. But sadly, that's the only way you'll really get much challenge at all in Captain Planet. Hell, it even has Cheat mode, where you can't even lose life or ringpower AT ALL. That's a slap in the face to difficulty if ever I've seen it. Other than that, yeah, not too bad a game.
@outlander145 Indeed the game has its faults, but all games have a fault here and there.
Mind you, I like the way the game was done. It's a nice little timewaster that gives you something to do for a half hour. If you have time to kill before you have to go for an appointment or something, then it's a very handy choice.
Will this play on a sega nomad?

@MaeganG1803 According to everything I've gathered from what VGRetro said, that'd be a yes.

At the end, is he just wantonly attacking a ship carrying radioactive material?
Zinco 1 year ago
@Zinco I reckon... aside from the radioactive material, he certainly doesn't have much probable cause.

They uhh... don't make games like this anymore!
