i love that solo.. my problem with lead guitarin' is alternate picking... im progressing at sweep picking decently.. malevolent.. do you know if lighter or heavier gauge stings help you at alternate picking.. or just less bend?

just listen to The Day the whole world went away live solo, aarons verison is 1000 times better than robins. I think it is better Robin help trent with the record on the studio and aaron in the stage... that will be perfect. I miss u Aaron, hope u will come back

its called an octave pedal.. same concept as a wah pedal except instead of a "WAH" sound it bends the pitch down and back up.. Also known as a pitch bender.. you can hear this same song in perfect quality on the "Beside You In Time" dvd

Ebow and it sounds like he's using a ''whammy'' pedal or pitch shifter whatever you call it. Correct if I'm wrong, I might.
