  • Because the artistic guy antied up and saved the ladies in his own house? Get real.

  • lol wtf this movie is unrealistic haha like 20 people vs 20 people

  • @GerbrandThunder1 its a small skirmish, not a full fledged battle

  • whats the movie called

  • @ColorfulSims Blue and grey with Patrick Swayze

  • DUDE IM 14 AND I LOVE THE BLUE AND THE GREY!

    Go Jonas Steele XD

  • after the son died Lloyd Bridges said I picked the wrong week to quit opium.

  • "Confederate cavalry? Really? I thought you were part of Maxmillian's French army."

  • The bastards in Butternutt as Harry Turtledove would say...

  • @Euroman25 Confederate Butternut is cool.

  • what a waste of good men , f*ck the illuminati of the New world Order

  • nice sharps

  • This movie is one of my favorites too.

  • Why in the world would the Federal Cav. dismount and form a skirmage line and then proceed to advance a considerable amount of distance on foot. Charge mounted and the battle is over in 5 minutes.

  • @jthofner Good point. I saw this back when I was a kid and I didnt notice until you pointed it out. I dunno but I thought that type of manouver was used against equally mobile forces like say plains Indians there werent enough of them to march like that. They were very bunched also as we know the civil war was waged with weapons that outdated the tactics in many ways.On a funny note I thought the lack of recoil with the rifles all let it down a bit those rilfes had the kick of mules

  • @jthofner

Not necessarily, though I do agree...plus I doubt the Confederates would of left their flanks open for a pair of Union sharpshooters to try and come up behind them either, they would have left a least a few men in the house.

  • i saw this in history class, we saw all of them

  • good movie.

  • It's funny seeing Lloyd Bridges play a dramatic role. I'm used to seeing him in Airplane!

  • POP said out of my sight, that's right, fuck that pussy

  • scene idiote e fine da cojone!

  • It wasnt the best movie ever. Alot of it was corny and unrealistic. BUT you have to consider the movie was a made for tv mini series from the 80s. I was in 5th grade when I seen it on TV. That movie sparked a interest in the civil war I wouldnt of had if it wasnt for this movie. I now write historical books about civil war battles. I say... not a bad film considering.

  • why advance at the last minute they had much better cover behind the wall??(no wonder they lost lol)

  • North and South was a whole better movie.

  • If you look again that 'Naval jack' is a swallow tailed guidon - rare to be sure, but some were used by CS cavalry units. "Commence firing" is the correct order if you look at a copy of Cooke's or Poinsett's cavalry tactics manual. Stll a corny movie though.

  • LOL, who was in charge of that small Union detachment that kept charging again and again? Burnside the Second?

  • I do must admit this is the wittiest comment I've read for a long while...LOL

  • @mjconley12

    LOL No shit!

  • the one brother was from gettysburg and gods and generals but he was already dead, by that meane old yankee cav,

    He Played Jeb stuart.

  • This movie totally SUCKED!!! For all the money they spent to make it, you'd think they could afford one, JUST ONE reenactor to advise them on how to make it look realistic. They have a fake confederate naval jack for a flag. They all have carbines. The son leads the ridiculous charge and gets shot. The whole battle is ridiculous and stupid and pathetic. "COMMENCE... FIRING" OMG!!! I could have done a better job with my camcorder and civil war buddies.

  • it wasn't that bad i liked it

  • this movie is so outdated why are people watching it in school?? Gettysburg is a far better movie they should be playing THAT in schools

  • this movie covers more civil war history

  • check out 1:51 lol

  • we watched this in school...cant believe john shot the union soldiers...well they were attacking his mom

  • yeah really after his strong allegiance to the union

  • "i dont have time to talk mista" lol

  • amazing.

  • I'm watching this movie in my History class.LOL!I fucking love this movie!

  • Wow I haven't seen this movie since the 5th grade. I totally missed the ending to this battle scene. I remember up to the part when Stacey Keich kills the crazy general. Thanks for the upload.

  • no problem didnt think anybody really watched these i was going to upload more battles but i didnt think anybody would watch if you want ill upload some more

  • thanks for the upload, one of my favorite movies. Yes, please upload more if possible :)

  • ok ill look for the dvd and upload some more scenes

  • thanks. I have the movie except for everything after this battle (got cut off when I was taping it).

  • And Ben Geyser said: "I picked the wrong week to quit amphetimines."

  • no offense but this must be the gayest unrealistic battle ever filmed. Civil War reenactment can do way way better. lol

  • its an old movie i know its not good

  • @chaloner It's not about the fighting. That's all anybody thinks about today. There's a lot more to a great movie than action scenes.
