because when they wrote all the song for the album MTM, they had like 60 songs and they gave nicknames to song before choosing the one on the record. Chester said as a joke "why not name it 'qwertyuiop' (the first line of the keyboard) and Mike said " let's call it qwerty it sounds better!"

you are right! but it was one of the song they wrote in the process of the album, they didn't write only 15 songs for the album, they wrote about 50 and chose from those 50. And Qwerty was one that "didn't make the cut" on MTM but they played it live a few time, before and after the MTM release
