You could actually get 3 trophies from the same spot. The Gau-19 trophy, as the video shows. Survivor trophy if you can defeat 75 enemies without dying, duh which is obvious since you will be killing 200 of them and finally Grenade Hangman trophy at the same spot as the machine gun since the enemy is respawing infinitely, but instead of standing up, you just need to hang on to a ledge and keep throwing grenades at them. Its like killing 3 birds with one stone. :)

To clarify the respawn point here... The reason the respawn keeps occurring is because the game wants to get someone behind that minigun turret after you killed the first guy. If you notice, the enemies that respawn are headed to that ladder. Once one gets behind that gun, no more respawning until you kill the guy behind the minigun turret again. So make sure you keep shooting any that may get close. Capiche?! Now go own!!

Guys, if you want to finish the game on crushing then try the cheat trick, there are plenty of videos about it on YouTube and plenty of info on the internet, it would make things alot easier like one shot kills on hard/ crushing even if you havent finished the game on that mode :D

@afggangster123 try killing some of the people coming from the right. he may only spawn infinitely when there are few enemies left in the area? its worth a try.

@TiagoMrt123 Yes, you can. But you don't really need it. I beat the game on Crushing without using any special option or cheat (or whatever it is called). Crushing mode is not that hard.

That is not a GAU-19 .50 GECAL. What a stupid unrealistic game. Such gun requires external power for the electrical motor. Beside, the gun itself weighs a lot. With feeder and transfer unit: 139 lbs. (63 kg). Practically the weigh of somebody. On top of that, is not even a GAU-19, but a M134 GAU-2/A .30 Cal. !!!!! They are totally WRONG.

here is a better tip for that wepon... when u get to the chintamani temple in shambala u can shoot any soldier coming out of the door to the left in the first big room just kill the ones coming out of the door:)

@leerey14, you can use the tweak for one shot kills if you start on crushing and then while in the game go into options and change the game difficulty to one you've beaten the game on then go buy the tweak/enable it, then you save it then go back to main menu and change the difficulty back to crushing while still in main menu then continue the game

@nbaer24kobe This counts for each PS3 game. You can get the platinum trophy without the DLC. The DLC adds some trophies but you don't have to buy it to obtain the platinum.

your solution is not easy as it requires first completing the game on hard which unlocks crushing difficulty then completing the game again on that difficulty, people by then will have done all the gun medals already! which is far harder than attaining the actual gun medals simply as you play the game first time round.

That's true but for most people the point of doing this is to get the 200 gau kills trophy which you need to get the platinum trophy and if you want the platinum trophy you're gonna have to beat the game on both hard and crushing anyway. So you do this after you do that.
