The biggest reason Miller isn't a bigger sell is that you have to have an IQ over 90 to get most of what he says and why its funny. That leaves out a big chunk of the population.

Lenny Bruce was funny, Carlin was funny, not Miller. I know the former VP of entertainment for Harrahs in Las Vegas. She worked with a lot of comedians and says Dana Carvey was one of the best to work with and Miller was an absolute ASSHOLE.

"The war is lost only if you're speaking for our enemies, because it is indeed lost to them and you owe them an apology..."

The first 'them' refers to our enemies, so one can only assume the same for the latter. So the last part of the sentence comes out to: "You owe our enemies an apology"

It looks like the comedian in Miller got the best of him. Excellent.
