Also, console games all have to account for the fact that you can't properly strafe as well as you can on pc. On 90 percent of console fps, enemies won't strafe out sideways or come from behind. Most console players simply just keep moving forward, and have to turn around like a merry go round to get to whats happening behind them. PC Players simply snap around with the mouse.

Why do you think so many cover based shooters flood the market? Do you actually think there's any skill in that?

The only thing I don't like so far are the canned takedowns and the fact that the stealth elements look far too simplistic. The AI's specific awareness is almost braindead and you can walk right up to them before they react. I'm basing all of this on the leaked footage from a few months back that shows 20mins of gameplay and looked pretty polished. My worst fear for DX3 is that they've dumbed down the AI in order to allow console players to clumsily run up to enemies and perform takedowns.

@exmortis Actually, they do this with every PC game. PC settings at "normal" by default appear to be the equivalent of medium/hard on the console counterparts.

Alot of this is enemies on screen, for one thing, and another is particles. Consoles get limited ai interaction, often based on simply not enough horsepower to handle the instance where a bunch of dudes all spam grenades and smoke, etc. So they don't allow that to happen.

Also, consoles get oversized hitboxes and autoaim.

I'm not sure if I like the assassination moves are going to add or remove from the game. But I certainly don't like move where if you press one button, it executes a number of movements to take someone down.

It's not a release available for the public to play, it's a demonstration of gameplay at a gaming conference for the audience to get a glimpse of the game. If there's ever a demo for the public to try the game themselves, it won't be released for many months. DX3 comes out next year.
