  • @paulthefatcat

    OK mate!

  • GETA Blu Ray with Network support, i got bdp s370

so you can connect hard disk

  • Quick question...does anyone know if it upconverts the quality of the videos? I have a PS3 and a AppleTV. PS3 shows the videos in better quality than the AppleTV since it has the upconvert fearure like many newer DVD players have.

  • will this play flv ?

  • @tmjromao

well concidering the video you are watching SAYS it will play FLV, i suppose so

  • haych DEE?

  • @teknowil LOL!!! i was like...haych dee?!?! hehe!

  • If this will play ISO im buying it.

    Anybody know if it does?

  • @AlColarossiDrums yes can play iso images of DVD and BluRay

  • @AlColarossiDrums

Iso is not a video format its a image format. so that makes no sense.

  • @sausagenmuff .iso in the case of converting a DVD movie in to an image. Most of these devices can play an DVD/Blue-ray .iso image file. I was wondering if this one did. Turns out it does.

If you use a program like KM player on the PC and open a .iso DVD movie image it will play it as if the DVD is in a drive.

You're right it doesn't make sense by saying this is a video format. But it does make sense that I was just asking if it could be played.

  • im so sick of my fails with wd tv live.im looking to try a nother media player

  • She can't pronounce the letter "H" correctly... really annoys me when people say it wrong....

A-t-shhh is how it should be said.... NOT "Hey-t-shhh"... It's a dumb mistake...

  • @stickwithahit Just shudup ya face .. nice actor, not so good product. Only device with full format support? dont make me laugh. ACryan, Wdtv live, xtreamer and many others support more formats, in more flexible ways. Shuffle the only music play? how about album play, or playlists?

  • I want to marry her!!

  • Sorry but in the video, you repeat the same Access to HDD, and wen mentioning the LAN playing you repeat the same screen, and not the LAN network setting and uses. Sorry but it useless for me, the mediocre demo. Fix and upload again.

  • WITH BATTERYS INCLUDED!!! OMG!!!

  • sexy Kiwi accent

  • What was the local disc C FAT32... looked like it was on the device, as network was below it

  • did i see fat32 on the drive list view? this wont play hd movies over 4gig and hd needs to be 8 plus to be any good .. butt in if im missing something here

  • get a popcornhour... you wont regret it

  • I hear it stutters when reading .vob files.

  • haha nice find at 1:49

  • pause at 1:49

    Custom PC FTW

  • YEAH CPC!

  • Does it have these 1-2 second "black pauses" between the different takes like the WD TV does?

If you watch a list of clips (in the same directory) from e.g. your camcorder, the black pauses are very annoying...

  • wow the girl is beautiful

  • Does it swim?

  • does it work with macs?

  • this is what u wear in sparta?

  • Comes with a composite cable, then the video says t connect using HDMi?

  • You can you composite or hdmi cable (not included)

  • whats the lan for? can you stream videos online?

  • You com play files over local network (pc/notebook)

  • haha she said peaceful music playing in the "blackground" at 2:50

  • Unfortunately, this does not have wireless capability like the Western Digital offering.

  • I love her australian accent !

  • do you come with the box?

  • Technical things + Hot Chickas = More Vids :P

  • Comment removed

  • Moarrr vids \o/

Anyway, it looks a very good replacement for a mediacenter (with all the stuffs of having dedicated hardware, case etc. This should costs less), expecially if it has DLNA compatibility (and you already have a PC on your network with DLNA streaming and mediafiles into it).

Unfortunately it doesn't have wifi connectivity :( but if it'll cost few bucks, i'll probably buy it anyway :)

  • Not a single bit of useful info given.

  • Media and Video files

Dude... wth!? who wrote this ?

  • Nice piece of kit looks like another Linux based product .

  • I want one real badly

  • God damnit, i saw a DIR-655 from dlink at around 2:05. God i nearly barfed in my mouth. It's cost me 40 hours of my life and 30 bucks for a fucking rma.

    But still, ASUS ftw!

  • asus is hot

  • Yea know they have the best laptops ever!

  • @miritkenny
