this probably sounds stupid, but im having a lot of dificulty seeing what fingure your using on each note... but hey maybe im just a stupid fag youtube poster who actually watches the videos to learn something...
Usually its what feels right on your handFor example if you can do the whole thing with your hand still the better and stuff like that. For example in this case you use pointing finger middle finger and pinky because it makes your hand almost still. hand movement.I know this sounds bad, but be lazy, do it the easy way for the hand(not the wrong way, keep your hand in the correct position) but use the fingers that make sense to youbad explanation butthebest I can do withotbass
What makes you think that anyone give a damn what you have to say. Every bass video is filled with comments from the ignorant. How about saying thanks for posting or shut the hell up. Take your self importance and use it to make your own videos. I notice that the people who pipe up about someones skill level or their perspective of the music dont make their one videos. Peanut gallery.......
are you kiddding? triads were the first thing i learned at bass guitar lessons! but for people who didn't get lessons i guess this would be usefull. nice fretboard!
i am getting ready to buy a bass. i am a begginer at it and i want to get something good that will last for years, i was thinking of getting the hofner violin bass. what brands or bass's r recomended for begginers?
Beatlecrazy, I just recently switched to the bass myself, and I originally bought a cheaper bass as well...but my teacher beleives that buying a more expensive, quality instrument that will last you a few years is more important than getting a cheap one starting out, unless you arn't sure if you want to play bass.
I ended up returning my Squier towards a Mexican Fender Jazz bass, which was around $500.

If you will invest in some "flat wound" strings, you'll get less string noise and the sound is better...>But good instruction

I think a walking bass line isn't just the 1st, 3rd, and 5th. Its the 1st, 3rd, 4th, #4th, and 5th.

And what fret are you starting on? Photography needs to show that if this is intended to be instructional....
ytmember1 3 years ago 2
Firstly, the fifth fret.
He explains that this is played in the key of "A".
Once again, with walks and patterns, it doesn't matter what note you start on.
The pattern is the same no matter what you do.
smitty01209 3 years ago
@ytmember1 "A" man.. Test the sound on your bass until one of the "A's" match..
guilaspilas 1 year ago
@ytmember1 Well it's in A so I would assume that the pattern starts on A which would be the 5th fret.
Sp3ci41K 1 year ago
@ytmember1 It's in the Key of A. take a wild guess.
