See the problem here was moving the Jets to Phoenix in the first place. Bettman has watered down the league with way too many teams & players. The salary cap has been good but this revenue sharing is a stupid idea. If a franchise can't make money than it shouldn't be in the league. The successsful teams shouldn't have to take their profits & pay for the losses of the teams who lose millions. Just another one of Bettmans stupid fucking ideas that has ruined the league.

@lostenmusic No, the climate does have something to do with it for sure. Kids/fans growing up in such a climate aren't introduced to hockey in the same way as they are in Canada and the northern states. So basically you have most of the city not even liking/caring/knowing about/ hockey. Sure there are local rinks, but there is much more push basketball and football and those warm climate sports.
