Bunch of Satanic cult members and pycho Nihilist darwinists in here.
Bribing intellectuals with free cryonics to let them say certain things that influence public opinion. (like Stephen Hawking: "God did not create Universe")
One thing im sure of one day truth will prevail, and all these frozen people will be blown into bits and pieces.
Practicing cryonics while there is still so much poverty in this world is not only egoist, it is a crime against humanity.
If they do find a way to re-animate people, it's last in first out because the people frozen later arepreserved better. So basically Walt Disney doesn't stand a chance!
@ItsMySexyLooks That depends on your question? Is it currently possible to cryonically vitrify someone to deliver them to a future hospital? Absolutely! Is it possible to completely revive and restore someone to indefinate youth and health...Not Yet! Will the future hospital be able to revive and restore them...Probably but like any other clinical trial only time will tell us. We know for certain what will happen if you never try. We have a ton of experience of what happens when you are buried!
@ItsMySexyLooks I am glad you are interested. Remember there was a time when before Heart transplants that people would have dismissed such an idea as spooky or down right evil. Imagine taring the still beating heart from a newly dead person and sewing it into someone else...Thats some gruesome stuff...and yet many lives have been saved and the human condition has improved from the now accepted proceedure of heart transplant! Cryonics is the same it takes time for people to adjust and change!
@ItsMySexyLooks We literally have an ambulence ride to a possible future hospital. If you are wise enough to set up a ride for yourself then you may live many thousands of yrs. If you don't then you know what will most certainly happen to everyone who dies with out cryonics. The question is are you willing to roll the dice or let fate take its course! We now look back at the majority of humans who believed the earth as flat, as if they were fools. How will they think of you in the future?
@ItsMySexyLooks I am here for you. If you have any questions about cryonics please ask them. This video is meant to peak interest and to inform people about cryonics. The whole idea is filled with many layers of myth and misconception portrayed by uneducated media outlets. Other wise do a web search about cryonics. The cryonics institute can preserve people for a very reasonable price and with term life and a little planning anyone can be preserved to see the future. You have little to lose.
This is all very well but what happens when the body has to stay at the morge for a few days and then there is an autopsy performed where the surgen cuts the brain out and weights it, looks for any cause of death there, then puts the brain back in the skull, by then severing all major arteries to the brain so none of this cryoptective perfusion can penertrate it. If cryonics is going to work then it has to be performed within minutes of the patient dieing.
@TheGodParticle If you are autopsied and/or spend several days under warm ischemic conditions you may very well be screwed. Each case is different and dependent on many variables. However, to say that all you have is a few minutes is patently incorrect. I work in emergency medicine and there are many example today in which people have survive well past a few minutes. Future technology will extend that limit even further. People simply do no disolve after death. Some cells last hours to days.
transplant... Theres is no P or T wave or QRS complex..there is nothing not even a heart at all for a short period anyhow. It is ironic that medicine uses hypothermia for heart & brain surgeries that at times produce no ekg or ecg. These patients today are cardiac & brain dead if only for brief periods. There's nothing in physics that say down time has a limit. Even ebryos can be frozen for centuries while being technically alive but dead by all other human measures & thats now not in the future
Steps 1,2,3..5 etc. To what purpose ? To wait for science to evolve with a cure ? A cure for what ? death ? That is going to take a lot of waiting. I`ve heard some daft people talk about this stuff. Talking about being frozen until a cure is discovered for whatever it is that kills them. Problem is, you`re still dead.
@valarmanwe we already have cures for the dead today. If you die and are found by emergency workers they can and often do restart your heart with CPR and defibulators. Under the right conditions you can already be brought back from death. We often say the limit is 5 mins without cpr but thats not always true. we have revived people after many hours in Ice water or in very cold environments. Also today embryos are routinely dead and frozen and thawed with no ill effects.
@DK0526 Huum ! I have to agree. The ( short term ) boundaries are being pushed foreward continually, inch by inch. But I`d say that CPR and defibrilation aid those who are actually still alive - notwithstanding that they may be `flat-lining` - zero QPRTS displacement.
I suppose there could be some credibility in cryogenics, but not for those who are dead.
@valarmanwe I am glad we agree on that. Actually, technically you are correct I have never brought back the dead. Its just that society is wrong about its definitions for death. Legal, clinical, cardiac, biological, and even brain death can and have been reversed. I can give you examples of each if you'd like but then the question becomes what is real and final death and we cryonicists have a hard definition call information theoretic death. Meaning there is nothing left to fix or restore>>>
or restore>>>Creamation or burial or simple biological death at warm temperatures over 48 hours most likely fit the definition for information theoretic death. There is no information left on the substrate or body. The information has been erased through microbial digestion, ischemic cascades, or through oxidization. When things are cool molecular movement slows to a crawl and information is locked in place. This is partly why we chill cardiac patients and remember during a heart transplant....
@valarmanwe Anotherwords, we don't see these people as dead but rather alive in a very very sick state. We also believe that there is absolutely nothing in science that proves that these people can't be revived with a sufficiently advanced medical science of tomarrow. We have published peer reviewed scientific papers to back up our claims. The skeptics absoluetly have nothing to back up thier claims, just a smug dismissal after judging that cryonics is not worthy of further review.
@DK0526 I think my definition of death is entirely congruent with what you call `information theoretic death.` ( Never heard of it ! ), but it ( ITD ) sounds to me like a catastrophic rise in entropy and cell apoptosis. I admire your energy re this matter, and I can dig the idea that info is `locked` at cool temps. But for life to come back, there must surely be some reversal of info / entropy back to a state which preceeds `death ?`
@valarmanwe I see you understand entropy and here again I agree that all things eventually reduce to Chaos or randomness. However Entropy applies to an isolated system and even the earth is not really a closed system. The only real closed system is the universe. Within in it you have countless examples of greater complexity such as life itself. If complex life can arise from simple molecules then surely we can reverse disease and aging as long as the universe winds down and we all die eventually
@DK0526 I agree with everything you say. Perhaps the answer lies in telomeres ( but I suspect even those are subject to the 2nd `law of thermodynamics.`) I don`t know. I think I`ll have to read up about cryonics to be better able to discuss it and be better informed generally. I`m a contracts trader - I buy and sell bets, basically. I know next to nothing about cryonics. But in theory what you say is - as far as I know - spot on.
@valarmanwe If you have any cryonics questions I can help you with please let me know..either I have studied it or I can point you in the right direction. I am very into cryonics and its supporting technology. BTW I know next to nothing about contract trading...RU selling comodities???
@DK0526 Thanks for that mate. You have piqued my interest - re. the technology.
Yes, I buy and sell commodities. It`s a hard job, and no one should do it. But someone has to.
May I ask, is your definition of Cryonics synonimous with suspended animation ? I know, I should watch more vids about it, and maybe I`m trying a short-cut with you. But the more I think about it, the more it intrigues me.
@valarmanwe Similar but different. Suspended animation in humans has been proposed to be done on legally living humans as a state of hibernation. Using techniques such a cooling or hydrogen sulphide to greatly slow down cardio resperation and metabolic needs, there can be some faint almost undetectible heart beat or extreemly slow metabolism. Although some definitions involve complete cesation of heart beat and metabolism. SA starts usally with a living not sick being and then reanimates them>>>
>>in contrast cryonics takes legally dead people but not "actually dead" people and vitrifies them in liquid nitrogen untill some potential future hospital can reanimate them. By this time it will be likely that suspended animation is common and accepted practice. It is also expected that clonning, stemcell therapies, and medical nanotechnology will have advance to the point that its is possible to restore health, reverse aging, and reverse any freezing damage.
@valarmanwe My day job is as a paramedic within standard EMS. However, my volunteer work in cryonics is greatly enhanced by my skill and knowledge of emergency medicine. Since we consider contracted members who die legally as potentially live patients we treat them as any other cardiac arrest patient while cooling by using supportive CPR and other EMS methods. Once the patient is cooled & perfused with vitrification protectants then they are placed in LN2 storage for future medical technology
@valarmanwe i was reading about destructive light interference which potentially can bring people back from the dead or sickness by reversing time to a point where you were healthy previously in your life it is not a cure it merely reverses time on an atomic level on your personal time line d l i makes interstellar space travel in short time frame by the spacecraft being atomised into a quantum particle stream and jumping read deeply folks on d l i it is playing god with the universe by humans
@andreassparks97 They once said that about heart transplants as well. They also laughed at the wright bros for suggesting that people might fly some day. Many thought that space flight was also foolish and impossible. History is litered with people who thought they understood science. After all most of the worlds population for most of history thought the world was flat...it took a screwed up fool like columbus to prove the world wrong!
I always wonder why people want to live forever!!! I'm in my thirties and find life continuously gets boring despite the fact that I have a good job, car, family etc. In my opinion, life is like a gum that loses its flavour over time.
I guess it's possible, heart transplants were considered ghoulish science fiction once.
It might help to answer the age old question of whether we have a soul or not. If you can bring a dead person back, then we pretty much do not have a soul and so should stick around on this earth for as long as possible, cos we won't get another chance.
INSTEAD be wise... give GOD 1 chance.. 1. Read the New Testament alone in your room and ask for the HOLY SPIRIT, ask GOD in Jesus name for the Living Water to burst forth and to be ONE with them now, here on earth and not just when you die. GOD has done this for me and many who listen... all who read the new testament asking this get a dream the first week from HIM then get the SPIRIT in them weeks after if the continue... stop placing faith in man who knows 2 things: kill and make money.
@eON3z People trying attain immortality on their own is a joke on all who place their faith in such a thing. God is love, His gift is the Spirit of Christ inside you, heaven within, the Living Water bursting forth, let me know if you want to be totally loved with God revealed to you in a matter of weeks. Peace.
@89murph Seen it with my own eyes, trust me Jesus gives the Living Water to whoever seeks it... and reveals all.. I swear to you... just give me a shot at you, listen to me for a while and hear me out before thinking you know what happens when you die, stop assuming... there is an intelligent creator notches above our consciousness willing to show you how real HE really is, are you interesting in making the connection? If so, let me know, if not, go your way, but if so, you will taste & see too
@89murph You're boring. LoL. Tell me, have you seen the other side? Both sides? Has God revealed them to you too? Do you want to know what God wants to hear in order to open 'that door' to you? He wants you to be honest about one thing. Your own heart. What do you love, seek and desire and are you sick within or are you perfect in love?
@89murph What do you do for a living? What will you do when you die and see Jesus was real and the Holy Spirit WOULD have been given to you if you only asked and read His word and not quit? Then you will hate it for eternity knowing what you could have had being taken from you. SHAPE up bro... time is coming to a swift end. You can die tomorrow. Nobody who is dead knew they would die that day. I seen Christ, I seen hell and heaven and Satan, angels and the rest. ITS REAL man.
@89murph I got one... I lead those that give me a few weeks of time to the door to heaven ... they knock.. God opens it... you want in? You have knowledge of what happens to your soul when you die?
@TheLastModernist I was shown bro... i don't know nothing that Christ has not shown me... and will show you too.. just give it a chance, even if its to disprove me man, you got nothing to lose why are you being so stubborn about it, I just simply dont get why YOU think you know when you dont.
@89murph i have a job, what do you do? Found the Living Water yet? Hope so or you will stand naked on a day where you wish you had clothes to wear. "I counsel you to buy from me gold refined in the fire, so you can become rich; and white clothes to wear, so you can cover your shameful nakedness; and salve to put on your eyes, so you can see." Rev 3:18 I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit in you; I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. Ezekiel 36:26
@onewaytoprovegod I don't any correlation between some bible verse and preserving a body. Please could you explain yourself, rather than spout religious nonsense. However, you can't expect a religious to have any sense of logic, so never mind.
@89murph I will explain myself, we are Spirit beings in a material world. You will die, I will die, all will die. There is MORE. Now, do you want proof? That is the question. If you do, watch my vid and do what I say and God will come to you.. .period. IF you do it, HE will come.. PERIOD. BELIEVE what you want but know this, YOU WILL DIE ONE DAY, I HOPE you have the HOLY SPIRIT when you do die, really I do.......... peace ------------------ watch?v=L3mZMyYwXtk
@onewaytoprovegod There's no such thing as a god though, so your whole argument doesn't make sense. "HURR DUURR god is answer". You're a retard, nuff said.
@89murph I'm a retard? Listen man, I never went to church,. I read the Testament on my own, figured its 190 pages, let me give it a shot instead of judging, so I read it askin' for the Living Water, for God to give me this new Spirit of Jesus as it said to ask & keep asking n reading, before I finished guess what, GOD opened the door, filled me, revealed Jesus to me, showed me visions n dreams n power from above fell on me 12 years later HE is still there, YOU WILL DIE ONE DAY. YOU WILL SEE!
@89murph How can you see if you sleep, yet you have dreams right.. except when you die its one eternal dream full of sight and sound... now what you see.. and what you hear.. depends on what you do here.. stop calling me names, stop being a jerk-mean-spirited hater.. be nice.. it won't kill you.. stop being defensive and aggressive... I come in peace dude... chill out.
@89murph Who's talking about dreams, try awake visions when God opens a curtain to the other side like in Daniel and like how Peter had them... you have no idea how real the other side is, death to you will be a RUDE awakening instead of a graceful one if you were to seek now, stop cussing at me before I come there and shove soap down your throat... even that can't wash your soul clean though, which i am POSITIVE you are in need of.
@89murph You know that you are the one living a lie, no peace. I speak what my Father has put in my mouth to tell you, what Christ is telling me to tell you, that you were born the way you were so that you can ask for the Living Water and Holy Spirit... seek Him while you can or you WILL be cast out eternally.. your sins are piled high, your conscience is seared shut as with a hot iron, seek the Spirit of God while He is willing to give it and you will find peace, until then, you will suffer.
@89murph Was you not able to finish grammer school or what? No I wasn't dropped, do you know proper English? Do you understand this: YOU Hate your own family, why? You hate yourself, why? Answer me now dude... now. STOP lying to me, yourself and the world, you know the answers to these questions, you just have pride and lie to yourself each and every day. Sad. YOU will receive the HOLY SPIRIT if you ask Christ for it for a few weeks... if you are sincere, if you read His word.
@onewaytoprovegod Grammar, not 'grammer' you moron. Do you know what a Grammar School is? I don't think you know. Ever thought about going to critical thinking classes, because your logic is on par with a retard.
@onewaytoprovegod Grammar, not 'grammer' you moron. Do you know what a Grammar School is? I don't think you know. Ever thought about going to critical thinking classes, because your logic is on par with a retard.
@eON3z You're bias, are you not? I propose you put my theory to the test to prove me wrong, carefully though, many have found the kingdom of heaven in spite as well...
@JesusGaveMeNewSoul read Mathew 10:8 It looks like Jesus supports Cryonics....Unless you don't believe the bible. Know the bible before you pass judgement on others and condem what may be a gift from god rather then "evil" as you say! Cryonics is no more evil then a heart transplant!
@phase866 Yes you are correct! "heal the sick and raise the dead" as written in Matthew 10:8 would certainly apply to cryonics. Further more I have recieved this knowledge bestowed upon me to help others in these regards. Thus I find it only good that I give this knowledge to those who are open to understand it. Cryonics is like a heart transplant...considered fringe before it becomes mainstream but a cutting edge concept to heal the sick none the less. A moral and worthy endeavor at the least.
@DK0526 I do not see why this would be looked down upon by Christians, but I do see some common misconceptions that could formed. Cryonics is founded on the principle of saving someone from death caused by a currently curable disease. "to preserve human life in a state that will be viable and treatable by future medicine" (webpage of the Alcor Foundation). To say that researchers are trying to "play God" would be overstating things, in my opinion.
@phase866 In fact Christians should be overwhelmingly supportive of cryonics since it potensially preserves the gift of life. Most major religions see suicide as a sin. Is it suicide to not take a medicine that could spare you certain death? I remember a story of a diabetic girl whos parents refused treatment while they prayed, they watched her die a slow and agonizing death. How do they know thier prayers were not answered with Insulin? Atheists as well should embrace it since they don't >>>
>>>Atheists as well should embrace cryonics since they don't believe in an afterlife. Just as heart transplants can be proformed on Christians, Jews, Muslims, Agnostics, or Atheists....its not really germain to religious or spiritual beliefs unless you decide in your mind that it is.
@DeadBull17 This is very untrue! Break thoughts in modern medicine have "blessed" people with extended lives. To say you cannot extend the time is absurd, do you think a person born into the tribal life of say Africa has the same life expectancy of someone living in the United States with health care? This is the next logical step in human/technological evolution. I can image a future to where even a body wont hinder life and conscious thought continues so long as you will.
@FieryLeo13 LIES.. my great grandma lived to be a 120.. my mom died at 58 and people are not living longer the petrochemicals, pollution and processed foods and hydrogenated oils plus the evil empire governments that are spraying chemicals that technology has produced is nullifying any and all advancements in life expectancy. Cancer was a RARE disease before 1900 did you know that? YOU all will burn in hell who place faith in technology instead of God who created you who is willing to love u
You are objectively incorrect. Cancer was never rare. Around 1900, cancer rates approximated around 112 per 100k individuals whereas in 2005, cancer rates approximated 200 per 100k, individuals. This may seem like an increase at first, but when you consider that human lifespan has also increased by an average of 30 years, you'll the opportunity to get cancer in age is simply equated to the current rate. In fact, not only has there not been an increase, but rather a decrease.
@psychosavant Actually you are right as well as I... the rate is tripled since that time not doubled, but I am not concerned with cancer or death, but rather breaking through to God and getting the Holy Spirit within. Quite literally, being one with Christ and God now while we live... this is the only thing that matters and most churches haven't a clue, most people haven't either... but its true, real and none seek the Lord asking for the Holy Spirit knowing they are evil or HE would do it.
Sir, thanks for uploading. I've been researching about cryonics for my story. I've got a big question though. what would happen to the consciousness of the person in cryonic sleep if they sleep for about 100 years? do they wake up at one point in time? do they dream frequently? or do they forget everything like a stroke or coma?
My character is in a locked in syndrome to go to cryonic process.
@darcon81 Consciousness is a product of a living brain. You are not alive during cryopreservation, you're dead. Dead as a dodo. Deader, in fact. You must die before your body can be prepared for preservation, because it is illegal to perform such acts on a living person. Your cold, dead body is frozen at -196 degrees celsius in a tank and you do not dream. You're dead! You're not suspended in some half alive-dead state, you are totally 100% dead, and not alive. You cannot dream, think or wake.
@George Thanks for answering, however, i already know the fact that they can only put dead people in the process. I want my character to be alive because i dont believe that future technology can raise the dead. I believe in the concept of soul that when a body dies, his soul goes out. Life is not a product of a living brain. Headless cockroaches and chickens live for months. The Mind body problem is one of the holy grails of many sciences. That's why no one can prove or disprove the soul.
It's your right to believe whatever you want, regarding a "soul", and rely on that supernatural belief, to survive death. I believe cryonics, is much more reasonable than rotting in the grave.
Also, I've talk to a cryonics researcher, he told me that putting living people in the process is possible more than thirty years from now. Future cryonics will be some form of hibernation. There are a lot of candidates to do the work--the hibernation induction trigger -injecting a fluid that would simulate animal hibernation. Barbiturate and other special types of drugs to induce coma. You see, the plan is to give the brain just a little activity so revival is mor feasible.
Very Good...I hope to see you in the future some day...I'll send you some stuff that might help with the religious argument. The bible actually supports extending life and all atempts at preserving life since it is gods gift to us. In contrast, commiting suicide is a sin to all major religions. I don't know is turning down life saving medicine suicide by default? The argument could be made that once you are aware of cryonics you must act or sin by default.
@Auriclama Thats a myth Disney was not frozen. There are many myths associated with cryonics. Just keep researching and asking questions and you will see that these people are very likely not dead. They are awaiting advances that will come to future hospitals. Many people of the past died from causes routinely cured today...Its too bad we couldnt have treated them with todays simple medications. The future will surely bring more advances such as molecular nanotechnology that will cure all ills.
@choezkevin yeah say if u are frozen and broght back say in 100 years you may not like what u see ur family will be dead[the ones you know and love now] all your friends gone and the world might be in a worse state than it is id hate that but its your choice so good luck and enjoy ur time in the deep freeze
Not if you care enough about your family to arrange for them to be frozen too.
And sure the world could be worse (it could also be better), but even if it is worse, it's better than being dead. If I had to choose between losing my job or death, I'd choose losing my job, even tho the world would be worse for me.
@freacls It is important to try & get your family/friends onboard. You could ask the same question of anyone who is brought back via CPR and defibulation"is the world worth comming back to?" Most would say yes..thats why we call 911, go to the doc, take meds, and generally dont commit suicide. The future will probably be better by default. If you can be brought back via nanotech then the world will be much much more advanced and better as a spin off consequence. The logic follows the presumption
@freacls This is a sad problem. Its as if you have seen the light and you understand that a blood transfusion may save your families and your own lives. Yet because of tradition, superstition, or ignorance they won't accept the treatment. So you are forced to make a choice. Die with them or live without them! Thats horrible! So I can only hope to educate others to consider living and giving up ignorance and broken traditions. Cryonics offers hope but you can force people to accept the truth!
@freacls 28,000$ funded by term life is very very cheap...like less then $20 a month or less the a pack of cigerettes or junk food habit! But your right you can't force them you could try to appeal to thier better judgement and reason. After all heart transplants cost around 700,000$ but also require insurance funding!
@DK0526 wow thats not too bad id think about it id love to come back and have another go at life do things i didnt do thise time around but my family say its playing God their very religiouse but im intrested in it okay where do i signe then
I don't understand why people favor this crap. When you die, you die. That's it!

I suppose there could be some credibility in cryogenics, but not for those who are dead.
valarmanwe 4 months ago
@valarmanwe I am glad we agree on that. Actually, technically you are correct I have never brought back the dead. Its just that society is wrong about its definitions for death. Legal, clinical, cardiac, biological, and even brain death can and have been reversed. I can give you examples of each if you'd like but then the question becomes what is real and final death and we cryonicists have a hard definition call information theoretic death. Meaning there is nothing left to fix or restore>>>
DK0526 4 months ago
or restore>>>Creamation or burial or simple biological death at warm temperatures over 48 hours most likely fit the definition for information theoretic death. There is no information left on the substrate or body. The information has been erased through microbial digestion, ischemic cascades, or through oxidization. When things are cool molecular movement slows to a crawl and information is locked in place. This is partly why we chill cardiac patients and remember during a heart transplant....
DK0526 4 months ago
@valarmanwe Anotherwords, we don't see these people as dead but rather alive in a very very sick state. We also believe that there is absolutely nothing in science that proves that these people can't be revived with a sufficiently advanced medical science of tomarrow. We have published peer reviewed scientific papers to back up our claims. The skeptics absoluetly have nothing to back up thier claims, just a smug dismissal after judging that cryonics is not worthy of further review.
DK0526 4 months ago
@DK0526 I think my definition of death is entirely congruent with what you call `information theoretic death.` ( Never heard of it ! ), but it ( ITD ) sounds to me like a catastrophic rise in entropy and cell apoptosis. I admire your energy re this matter, and I can dig the idea that info is `locked` at cool temps. But for life to come back, there must surely be some reversal of info / entropy back to a state which preceeds `death ?`
It`s all interesting.

DK0526 4 months ago
@valarmanwe I see you understand entropy and here again I agree that all things eventually reduce to Chaos or randomness. However Entropy applies to an isolated system and even the earth is not really a closed system. The only real closed system is the universe. Within in it you have countless examples of greater complexity such as life itself. If complex life can arise from simple molecules then surely we can reverse disease and aging as long as the universe winds down and we all die eventually
DK0526 4 months ago
@DK0526 I agree with everything you say. Perhaps the answer lies in telomeres ( but I suspect even those are subject to the 2nd `law of thermodynamics.`) I don`t know. I think I`ll have to read up about cryonics to be better able to discuss it and be better informed generally. I`m a contracts trader - I buy and sell bets, basically. I know next to nothing about cryonics. But in theory what you say is - as far as I know - spot on.
Have a good weekend pal.
valarmanwe 4 months ago
@valarmanwe If you have any cryonics questions I can help you with please let me know..either I have studied it or I can point you in the right direction. I am very into cryonics and its supporting technology. BTW I know next to nothing about contract trading...RU selling comodities???
DK0526 4 months ago
@DK0526 Thanks for that mate. You have piqued my interest - re. the technology.
Yes, I buy and sell commodities. It`s a hard job, and no one should do it. But someone has to.
May I ask, is your definition of Cryonics synonimous with suspended animation ? I know, I should watch more vids about it, and maybe I`m trying a short-cut with you. But the more I think about it, the more it intrigues me.
valarmanwe 4 months ago
@valarmanwe Similar but different. Suspended animation in humans has been proposed to be done on legally living humans as a state of hibernation. Using techniques such a cooling or hydrogen sulphide to greatly slow down cardio resperation and metabolic needs, there can be some faint almost undetectible heart beat or extreemly slow metabolism. Although some definitions involve complete cesation of heart beat and metabolism. SA starts usally with a living not sick being and then reanimates them>>>
DK0526 4 months ago
>>in contrast cryonics takes legally dead people but not "actually dead" people and vitrifies them in liquid nitrogen untill some potential future hospital can reanimate them. By this time it will be likely that suspended animation is common and accepted practice. It is also expected that clonning, stemcell therapies, and medical nanotechnology will have advance to the point that its is possible to restore health, reverse aging, and reverse any freezing damage.

@DK0526 Ps. Do you consider cryonics as a whole or part of your work as a Paramedic ? I understood Cryonics as a more long term endeavour.
valarmanwe 4 months ago
@valarmanwe My day job is as a paramedic within standard EMS. However, my volunteer work in cryonics is greatly enhanced by my skill and knowledge of emergency medicine. Since we consider contracted members who die legally as potentially live patients we treat them as any other cardiac arrest patient while cooling by using supportive CPR and other EMS methods. Once the patient is cooled & perfused with vitrification protectants then they are placed in LN2 storage for future medical technology

@DK0526 "Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse those who have leprosy,[a] drive out demons. Freely you have received; freely give." ?
phase866 2 months ago
@phase866 Yes you are correct! "heal the sick and raise the dead" as written in Matthew 10:8 would certainly apply to cryonics. Further more I have recieved this knowledge bestowed upon me to help others in these regards. Thus I find it only good that I give this knowledge to those who are open to understand it. Cryonics is like a heart transplant...considered fringe before it becomes mainstream but a cutting edge concept to heal the sick none the less. A moral and worthy endeavor at the least.
DK0526 2 months ago
@DK0526 I do not see why this would be looked down upon by Christians, but I do see some common misconceptions that could formed. Cryonics is founded on the principle of saving someone from death caused by a currently curable disease. "to preserve human life in a state that will be viable and treatable by future medicine" (webpage of the Alcor Foundation). To say that researchers are trying to "play God" would be overstating things, in my opinion.
phase866 2 months ago
@phase866 currently * incurable disease
phase866 2 months ago
@phase866 In fact Christians should be overwhelmingly supportive of cryonics since it potensially preserves the gift of life. Most major religions see suicide as a sin. Is it suicide to not take a medicine that could spare you certain death? I remember a story of a diabetic girl whos parents refused treatment while they prayed, they watched her die a slow and agonizing death. How do they know thier prayers were not answered with Insulin? Atheists as well should embrace it since they don't >>>
DK0526 2 months ago
>>>Atheists as well should embrace cryonics since they don't believe in an afterlife. Just as heart transplants can be proformed on Christians, Jews, Muslims, Agnostics, or Atheists....its not really germain to religious or spiritual beliefs unless you decide in your mind that it is.
DK0526 2 months ago
@DeadBull17 This is very untrue! Break thoughts in modern medicine have "blessed" people with extended lives. To say you cannot extend the time is absurd, do you think a person born into the tribal life of say Africa has the same life expectancy of someone living in the United States with health care? This is the next logical step in human/technological evolution. I can image a future to where even a body wont hinder life and conscious thought continues so long as you will.

Cancer was a RARE disease before 1900 did you know that? YOU all will burn in hell who place faith in technology instead of God who created you who is willing to love u
JesusGaveMeNewSoul 1 year ago
@JesusGaveMeNewSoul
In fact, not only has there not been an increase, but rather a decrease.
psychosavant 1 year ago

I'm looking forward for ur answers. Thanks!
darcon81 1 year ago
@darcon81 Consciousness is a product of a living brain. You are not alive during cryopreservation, you're dead. Dead as a dodo. Deader, in fact. You must die before your body can be prepared for preservation, because it is illegal to perform such acts on a living person. Your cold, dead body is frozen at -196 degrees celsius in a tank and you do not dream. You're dead! You're not suspended in some half alive-dead state, you are totally 100% dead, and not alive. You cannot dream, think or wake.
George19881988 1 year ago
@George Thanks for answering, however, i already know the fact that they can only put dead people in the process. I want my character to be alive because i dont believe that future technology can raise the dead. I believe in the concept of soul that when a body dies, his soul goes out. Life is not a product of a living brain. Headless cockroaches and chickens live for months. The Mind body problem is one of the holy grails of many sciences. That's why no one can prove or disprove the soul.
darcon81 1 year ago
@darcon81
It's your right to believe whatever you want, regarding a "soul", and rely on that supernatural belief, to survive death. I believe cryonics, is much more reasonable than rotting in the grave.
SciencianSociety 1 year ago
Also, I've talk to a cryonics researcher, he told me that putting living people in the process is possible more than thirty years from now. Future cryonics will be some form of hibernation. There are a lot of candidates to do the work--the hibernation induction trigger -injecting a fluid that would simulate animal hibernation. Barbiturate and other special types of drugs to induce coma. You see, the plan is to give the brain just a little activity so revival is mor feasible.
darcon81 1 year ago

The future will surely bring more advances such as molecular nanotechnology that will cure all ills.

freacls 1 year ago
@freacls It is important to try & get your family/friends onboard. You could ask the same question of anyone who is brought back via CPR and defibulation"is the world worth comming back to?" Most would say yes..thats why we call 911, go to the doc, take meds, and generally dont commit suicide. The future will probably be better by default. If you can be brought back via nanotech then the world will be much much more advanced and better as a spin off consequence. The logic follows the presumption
